G&J's Pizzeria — Restaurant in New York

It’s was a quiet serine environment with kind staff always smiling and courteous too! Just back from FL and craving NY Pizza and this recommendation superseded my expectations! Wow! I had the #HarlemSquare and oh my word was it delicious!! The crust was light airy crispy combined with the savory sweet sauce was a perfect marriage! The cheese was cooked to perfection as was this corner slice of what traditionally is called a Sicilian slice. I topped it with garlic, ptarmigan cheese and oregano but it did not need it I tasted the seasonings just fine. I’m just a lover of all things garlic! My only regret was not having a second slice because 10 minutes after I left I had a craving for more! This is a diamond in the rough here inconspicuously off of the very busy 3rd Avenue so be careful or you might miss the BEST Pizza in East Harlem ...

My heart hurts to rate a 3 star BUT… the point of delivery service is to get delivery… to your apartment door. I use to love ordering from here when it was across the street from my apartment. Now, when I’ve order via Uber Eats or Grubhub, the delivery guy always tells me to come down and get my food. No other restaurant from Uber Eats or Grubhub has asked me to come down. My food gets delivered to my door! So no sir! I tip very well to make sure seamless service and that you come to my apartment door. The food tastes amazing at this place but I should not have to travel to get my food. Unfortunately I don’t know when I will gain the courage to order again from this place.
