What we had: fried zucchini flowers stuffed with cheese tuna poke fair burger

Sharing my thoughts: the place is admittedly located in a very busy tourist attraction. This is both good and bad: Good because for being located in a tourist attraction site, the food could had been mediocre food for premium prices. But the food was actually pretty good. Which leads me to my second point; bad because the food comes with the premium prices. It is very rare to come across a burger in the city that does not include fries with the burger. The burger itself is $22 and if you want fries then you are looking at an extra $6. That is my only reservation with the burger because the burger itself is good: a smash patty deluxe with a refreshing crisp balance of lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The zucchini flowers were great. No complaints here. They were stuffed with a blend of cheeses and had a side of aoli which worked well together. The tuna poke was ok. Nothing exceptional. In terms of experience: The table service was dry. Our server was not friendly or attentive taking clients for granted. If you want tips, then put in the work. in terms of the space, there are decent views of the Brooklyn bridge and the spectacle of the cobblestone street. The interior is nice but I have a bone to pick with the designer: the base of the concrete counter at the bar has fins that project out too much and I was constantly hitting my knee with it. It looks good but that aspect of it was not practically thought through.

The owner is a true neighborhood champion—deeply invested in both the business and the community, which adds an extra layer of charm and authenticity to the whole experience.
