I recently visited Front street pizza by mistake and had one of the most disappointing dining experiences. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that the place was poorly managed. The staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, taking forever to take my order despite the place not being busy. When my “cheeseburger” finally arrived, it was a major letdown. The bun was stale and cheap, the patty was overcooked, tasteless and dry, and the no cheese at all. To make matters worse, the toppings were sparse and didn’t seem fresh. The lettuce was wilted, and the tomato slices were thick and flavorless. And expect to be charged extra 1 buck for lettuce and tomato. The side cheese fries on the side were cold and soggy, lacking any seasoning or crispiness and cheese microwaved i suppose. Overall, the food was subpar and not worth the price. Save your time and money and go somewhere else if you’re craving a proper meal. Whoever says that food is good here, please check your taste buds. Totally turist trap.

Looking for a solidly good slice in Dumbo—Front Street Pizza is a good place to enjoy a variety of pizzas, sandwiches, and more. only had the pizza and it is classic NYC slice, thin firm crust, thin layer of sauce, and melty mozzarella cheese. had a pepperoni slice and a plain slice it’s not amazing or the best but it’s good when you need a casual spot to grab some eats. there is also beer by the fan if you need an adult beverage. there is a good amount of seating inside. the space is mostly clean. the interior can get a little messy when it’s busy but other than that it’s maintained well. staff is very New York but friendly enough. Front Street Pizza is near the Brooklyn Bridge as well as Manhattan Bridge—i actually inhaled my slices as i crossed the Manhattan Bridge. pizza calories + great view…what else could one want in life?!?

After exploring DUMBO, we headed to Front Street Pizza for some brunch, and it was a great choice! Be warned: their pizzas are absolutely massive. Seriously, for an adult male, two slices are more than enough to fill you up. Think Costco pizza size for a whole pie – it's huge! We almost ordered a full pizza, but luckily, we decided to get just a couple of slices each, which was definitely the right call. The pizza itself was delicious, hitting all the right notes. Plus, the place has a relaxed atmosphere, with the added bonus of outdoor terrace seating, which is perfect for enjoying your meal while soaking in the DUMBO vibes. If you're in the area and craving some seriously satisfying pizza with generous portions, Front Street Pizza is definitely worth a stop.

Pizza is great! But i will not be going back here, workers need sensitivity training. I was totally embarrassed by the cashier Wednesday May 18 2016. Went in the restaurant with only $23 cash in my pocket. Used the $20 bill to purchase a buffalo slice and got back $15.20. Ate that slice and order another, this time I used the $5 bill from my change at the same time I said let me get a beer. Now I gave the cashier $10 that he gave me for change. He examined the $10 bill and concluded it was fake. Now I was worried and thinking were I got this fake bill from...after a few moments a realize that I got it around five minutes prior from the cashier. He denied vigorously that he gave me the fake 10. I spoke in a low voice to avoid attention. But the cashier made it his duty to start getting loud on me. Calling me a thief. The owners son came to the front and poured salt on open wound. He tried to dismiss my claim "we have other customers to deal with" in a condescending tone. I'm not sure why they reacted to me the way they did, the only visible characteristic I have is that I'm male, early 30s African American. I proceeded to raise my voice to counter the attack and requested that they check their video tape to prove I'm not lying. The owners son said well it's going to take 15 mins. I told him I will wait because I'm not going to loose my $10. After viewing the tape the owner came out front to apologize in a soft tone. We walked outside where he told me that he told his son that his approach was wrong. As I said the pizza is good. But gentrification not only raise our rent it also subject us to subpar services from places we once...

My fiancé and I live just a few blocks away and decided to treat ourselves to pizza on a Friday night. The reviews for Front Street Pizza seemed pretty solid, so we figured we’d give it a try.

When he got there, he realized it would actually be cheaper to have the pie delivered—something we didn’t expect but appreciated. He placed the order for a large pie, gave our info, and although there was a little confusion at the counter about the timing, the guy said it would be about 20 minutes. The delivery was right on time with no issues, which was great.

When we opened the box, the first thing we noticed was how heavy the cheese was—like, really heavy. While I know some people love that kind of cheese load, it just wasn’t our thing. On top of that, it was super greasy, which made it feel a bit off. Maybe we caught them on an off day, or maybe the staff had been working long hours—it happens. But it felt rushed and slightly undercooked. I’m used to pizza being cooked a little longer with a better balance of sauce and cheese—unless I ask for extra cheese.

All in all, it wasn’t for us, but everyone has different tastes. Maybe some folks are into that kind of pizza, but personally, I’d probably try somewhere...
