Golden Way is notable for quite a few reasons. This is my go-to spot for Chinese food in Ozone Park. They're notable for having a Thai menu as well as a traditional Chinese menu. All the food there is good! We've experience them in both their take out and dine in experiences. The restaurant itself is nice and was redone a year or so ago. They serve wine and beer, and can provide a kid-friendly atmosphere. All of the waiters are attentive and friendly! I never had a bad experience in this restaurant. When getting take-out, they're quick, and will give you time to peruse the menu if you're unsure of what you want. You never feel rushed whether dining in or taking out, which for a busy person like myself, sometimes can be a godsend as you try to navigate the menu after a rough day at...
Read moreMaybe i got them on a bad day but my 1st experience with this location will be my last. I had the Penang Curry with beef, cheese wontons and hot and sour soup. Both the cheese wontons and the hot and sour soup were good and i have zero complaints. But the Penang Curry was just not good. For starters it was very thick. Almost like a gooey paste. I also had it with beef. Unfortunately the entire thing was just filled with eggplant and very few pieces of beef. Lastly it just didnt taste good. The flavor was bland and it just didnt taste fresh. Again maybe i got them on a bad day. Or maybe i order it at the wrong time. But regardless they shouldn't have let this item go out like that. I mean the Hot and Sour soup was delicious and tasted fresh. But the main entrees...
Read moreThis review is specifically for their general tso's chicken. I order from them using GrubHub and it's a $10 delivery minimum. That's pretty standard and it's well worth it. The only thing I've ever had is the white meat general tso's. This meal consists of a small white rice container and a large container of white meat general tso's chicken. The white meat general tso's chicken is a lot more softer and flavorful then the regular general tso's chicken which is usually crunchier. On busy days you can expect a delivery to take as much as an hour but if you order before primetime it's usually about a 30 minute wait. Unfortunately I've never had anything else besides this so this review is based solely off that meal. If you love general tso's chicken I highly...
