TLDR: Gong Cha and Xing Fu Tang are my current top 2 boba shops! šŸ§‹ I got their earl grey milk tea 3Js (includes tapioca boba, herbal jelly, and pudding). It's like 50% toppings though. I usually get 30% sugar and light ice. This was really good but a bit sweet for my tastes. Sometimes they don't know how to process my Gong Cha giftcard so I suggest better staff training for that. What's the point of having a giftcard of I can't use it? Pro tip: It can also get VERY busy when school/work lets out. So order ahead to avoid the wait! No seats or bathroom here. I did see they started selling bubble waffles and I might try that on a future trip.

Wow a Gong Cha bubble tea on Fordham Rd is now open! Looks like they are having 20% off for their soft opening today and Buy 1 Get 1 Free for their grand opening 5/14-5/15. Their boba is always so good. I'm so happy that there is another location in the Bronx now.

You know you would think that something as simple as hand in fixing an issue like DoorDash not giving the option to add black bubble can be fixed after an order was placed. I called and a young gentleman did not want to try to help me at all. I then asked for management and none available, I then asked for his name and he just closed the phone on me. I called back and someone by the name of Jennifer (according to her) picked up and she was respectful, but couldn’t help with the situation. This spot needs a wake up call on customer service. They must of forgot this is NYC and I worked in the restaurant business for years and let me just tell you; First It’s no way possible that anyone can get away with that type of service in this city. They are very lucky that I’m not that type of person to escalate the situation. I noticed this gong cha location customer service is terrible and they don’t care about their customers at all. It’s all just a transaction of a bunch of young employees that have barely any customer service experience. This is the last time I order bubble tea from this location, I have grown completely tired of them closing earlier than their closing time stated online and also tired of their careless...

The taro tea and the dirty tea were great! Customer service could be a bit better especially when it comes to being prepared to explain what each drink is. A couple of them looked upset to be there too. Overall it was great and I’d recommend it but…..during the second visit the staff were less pleasant especially the girl at the register with the long pony tail. I went back to her to let her know there was a dead daddy long spider on the counter and hair where customers stand and have their drink. At first she stared at me and said she’d clean it. I was there for a while and no one cleaned it. The taro was extra sweet and warm. It had no ice or maybe it melted while they made a new batch. The dirty brown was a total disappointment. It tasted only of milk. No flavor, not sweet, and a waste of time and money. So much for a...

Been going here since it opened and the girl who tends to work the register at the front is always consistently rude. Meanwhile I heard her being very polite to the customers that looked older behind me. I don’t appreciate her attitude every time I enter, and if they want this location to prosper she should just be removed. The rest of the staff look just as bored to be there, further complimenting the bland and weird ambiance when you walk in, terribly awkward. Drinks are hit or miss, got the worst drink I ever had here, a simple strawberry milk tea, it made me never want to drink boba again, and I love boba. I abandoned it outside after one sip. It’s crazy one place could make me dread something I usually love. Do better and hire...
