Greenpoint Original Pizza — Restaurant in New York

9/7 - Update! No longer the best pizza!! $14.00 for 4 terrible, tasteless just disgusting slices!!! What happened???? New owners??? Since January it has progressively gotten worst. They updated the restaurant for nothing!!! The food should not have changed...why?????? Where are the two older gentlemen?? The pizza was always consistently good!! No longer 😫😫😫😫😫 After so many years now I have to find another pizzeria...I miss the good old days that people cared about the food they served.

1/5/24 - Update very disappointed my last two visits. Saturday ordered a pie and it was thick with no flavor. Yesterday, my nephew went in to get a slice. The tall guy put it in the over a few seconds to heat up. Felt it was not long enough, and sure enough, it was not. It was cold, and the guy was surprised when I asked to warm it up longer. love it I went here yesterday ! I've tried both Upside pizza and Russ Pizza (both in greeenpoint and nearby) got to say I actually prefer here they give you a larger wide slice the cheese is stretchy which the last time i had pizza that was this stretchy has to be Joe's Pizza its definitely on my top 5 as a native New Yorker. Some people might hate this but you know a pizza is good when you step into the pizzeria the smoke and smell hits you making your eyes water. I love how if you order more than one slice you'll get a pizza box not a lot of pizza spots in NYC does that I'm so grateful for it

best pizza and incredible homestyle authentic Italian food in Brooklyn,all you had to do was ask and he'd make you homemade ravioli with tomato basil and garlic sauce or unforgettable meat lasagna you just could not stop eating even if you were stuffed.Only your Italian Mom could make it better.I ate there 4 times a week for 30 years and never could even think about getting tired of his great delicious food.
