My enthusiasm for this market knows no bounds, driven by a deep appreciation for its culinary treasures. The onigiri, with their perfect balance of rice and fillings, have become a personal favorite. And the sweets, oh, the sweets – they are a symphony of flavors and textures that make each indulgence an experience.

However, it's the beverage selection that leaves me somewhat less enthusiastic. While I appreciate the intention to provide diverse drink options, they haven't quite managed to align with my palate. It could be a matter of personal preference, but I find the drinks lacking in the distinctive character and allure that I encounter with the onigiri and sweets.

As a result, I've decided to focus my visits on the culinary delights that truly resonate with my taste buds, leaving the beverage offerings to those who appreciate them more. This way, I can savor the flavors that I adore and make the most of my time in...

There’s a nice variety of foods and drinks here, a lot of sweets. My foodie wife likes the mackerel bento but says it’s mostly rice with not enough vegetables. Vegetarian options are limited, which is typical for Japanese markets, so be sure to read the ingredients. I found out even a wasabi cracker I liked had fish in it. The Ajinomoto vegetable dumplings are okay but without much filling; the Yamamoto Yama tea is the best I’ve had. I’ve cheated on my diet several times for the daifuku. The store is small and brightly lit. The cashiers seem either shy or unfriendly. If you love all things Japan, you’ll probably like it here, but for me I’ll just occasionally pick up a bento/onigiri for my wife if I’m passing by with my baby. I appreciate their thoughtful response to...
