The purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this restaurant in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review.

Atmosphere: A pretty spacious place, with a good number of tables in and out. However, I would say that seating inside the restaurant is best since there are many flies around the front outdoor area. The decor inside the restaurant is well thought out, and it is clean for the most part.

Service: I won't generalize the poor service I experienced from one of the waitresses. However, it should be nice if all of them gave the same good service. My waitress literally forgot to give me my utensils when she placed my order in the table. I had to ask her for utensils and later on I even had to ask for extra napkins.

Food: I honestly think there's a combination of good food and not so good on their menu. I ordered the Ginger Fried Rice and the Tofu Vietnamese Sandwich. The Ginger Fried Rice was lacking flavor and most importantly, it was lacking cleaner shrimp. They did not properly remove the insides of the shrimps. A restaurant with the kind of level they want to set should be able to serve de-veined shrimp. The Tofu Vietnamese Sandwich was pretty good.

Price: Prices can vary from fair to high depending on the...

My wife and I came in here on a Tuesday night to pick up two bahn mi sandwiches togo. We were offered the option of adding $5 to each sandwich for “extra/ double meat”. What a total scam. We took our togo bag which seemed light, and headed to nearby prospect park to eat them. I ordered the beef, my wife pork. The beef sandwich had four extremely thin slices of beef inside which for perspective, given the length of the sandwich, was only enough for having one slice across the total length. The pickled carrots more than quadruple the thickness of the meat in my sandwich. My wife’s pork looked better, but honestly comparing to many other bahn mi places I’ve been to, it overall still seemed to be a normal portion of meat versus “extra/double”.

We ordered 2 sandwiches togo around 6:30. The restaurant had many empty tables inside and only two people showed up to pick up takeout food. Despite that, it took nearly 40 minutes before we received our sandwiches, which had the skimped amount of meat.

Two sandwiches with extra meat (which was absolutely not worth it. Mainly bread) totaled over $36. Absolute rip off. Avoid this place at all costs for their ridiculous bahn...

There simply aren't enough great words to describe the love that goes into the food and is showered on patrons at Ha Noi. The pho is always super fresh, piping hot, and so flavorful. The beef rolls are so tendered and delightfully grilled. The green papaya salad was perfectly spiced. The pineapple fried rice was slightly sweet and savory and simple. Adding the shrimp was a nice option to get some protein with the carbs! The heat of the beef sate builds as you eat it and warms the tongue so nicely, and the veggies in it retain their crispness. The noodles with beef were yummy, as well. And I can't say enough about the warmth and kindness of the staff! Grace is such a beautiful human! If ever a name matched the person, this one absolutely did! Really lovely to be able to sit outside when...

Fresh young coconut milk served in 🥥 shell, with a tiny umbrella... yes please! First time visiting this Vietnamese place and the tastes were outstanding. Hospitality was very pleasant and the food came out super quick. We ordered Mango Salad, Avocado Salad, Beef w/ Lemongrass, Vegetarian Stir Fry and steamy Jasmine Rice. Note to self: Order papaya salad next time as well as the hot, sizzling Curry Beef (bo um cari) skillet that passed our table while we enjoyed our meal! Good lord that smelled good! OH and the coffee flan 🍮 We will definitely keep this spot in mind on our next trip to NYC 🇻🇳 Thơm Ngon!
