Query: do they boil their bagels? I bought everything bagel with butter, not toasted… I don’t believe in toasted bagels if they’re made the same day… I asked whether that was the case and they said yes, so I went with the bagel. not toasted. The atmosphere the environment was very nice very professional staff… and have several varieties of bagels. But I think that they do not boil their bagels. It has a complete different consistency in density… It’s likely that they just baked them… I asked one of the persons behind the counter. She was not familiar with the process, which is OK it’s no big deal… But if it is baked, it’s not the type of bagel I like. But this is not to say That they do not sell good bagels. They just don’t sell bagels that I like. (boiled… I find boiled bagels better than baked bagels… It’s just a personal choice… I find them a lot more spongy… Lighter… Airy… I like the bounce texture of a boiled bagel… It’s just a personal choice) …. there can be a big debate about whether boiled bagels are better than baked bagels… But as a true New Yorker (Brooklyn) Boiled bagels have lined my stomach for a long, long time… I’m sorry, having a baked bagel to me is like having a bagel off the shelf at a supermarket… There’s really no difference in my opinion…...

I typically don’t have bad experiences here because they have delicious bagels but this one was …an experience. The counter person did not understand that I was trying to order a Taylor ham and cheese on a bagel, asking if I wanted to build my own sandwich (an option that would have been much pricier than ya know…a normal breakfast sandwich). But hey I get it, mornings be morning-ing and miscommunications happen.

Now, I’m from NJ so when I see a place in Brooklyn that sells Taylor ham/pork roll I get STOKED. But when I got home, it doesn’t appear to be pork roll in the slightest but actually Canadian bacon…. And not only that it is basically raw (griddle that meat yo!). And also it’s with cheddar cheese? Odd choice, would have assumed American is the standard. Nothin against cheddar but when you order a breakfast sandwich without egg you need a cheese to hold it together and not glob up.

All in all. Shoulda kept it simple and gotten my usual (their French toast bagels are divine) because that was the most expensive two bites of food I...

I Looove Brooklyn bread. I’ve been ordering through third party apps for about a year now and they never disappointment. Their seeded brick oven bread is always on point. I always order it on the Mr. Punchy sandwich with no ham and provolone cheese. So delicious. I love tasty bread and tasty sandwiches and Brooklyn Bread has it all.

FYI if you’re vegan they have vegan options including not feeling left behind with pesto. They have vegan pesto which is also so very delicious. The vegan hash with vegan pesto rather than vegan mayo … spot on. I just really love this place …. Don’t forget their seeded brick oven bread…. The best!!!!!

I can’t rate the atmosphere because I have never ate there but given that I love the food and I live a neighborhood away with it getting delivered through third party apps…. It’s just so delicious. I have a saying when something is so good “ my tastebuds are having a party” and it’s always a party when I order from...

I started working in this area this week and wanted to try this place while passing by. I thought it would be a good place to buy something on my way to work in the morning. I just wanted mozzarella, cheese, tomato and lettuce in a plain bagel. I asked if you could make toast and they said okay. It definitely tasted awful. The toast bread tasted like fried pork. I don't eat pork or meat and I tried to eat some of the bagel, I thought maybe I was misunderstanding, but I threw half of it away. It was never worth this price. The taste was very bad. I don't think I'll ever stop by again.

This a review for the Brooklyn Bread on Murray Street. Great place to eat. Haven’t been in New York long but this spot has become my go-to spot in the morning and for lunch. The cashier Melanie is very informative and the food does not make you feel fatigued. I haven’t tried the smoothie yet but it will be on my list for sure. The sandwich displayed is the Notorious BLT and I substituted the chicken salad with a chicken cutlet and toasted the croissant. The Caprese breakfast sandwich on a croissant toasted is also very good but I always finish it before I can get a picture.
