It took me a while to write this review because I still couldn't get over my experience at the Lounge.

For starters: service was spectacular, my friend and I arrived early on a Saturday (I think it was as they were opening) and we had the bartender's immediate attention. My mojito was oustanding, truly

Now for the bad part: idk what chef they have back there but they should find someone else because the letdown was real. Or get him/her a proper cookbook for reference.

For the appetizers, my friend and I ordered fried shark, quesadillas, and parm-truffle fries. I ask you to take a look at my pictures. The one with the yellow triangle cones were the "quesadillas".....nowhere on God's green earth have we ever seen such horrible looking quesadillas. Those were not quesadillas, they tasted like fried corn and the chicken was ground chicken and it was tasteless (-9)

The parm-truffle fries were so drenched in truffle oil that it left a really strong after taste in our mouths....

For the fried shark, not only was the batter heavily salted the platter was a mixed of fried fish and shark. And yes I know what fried shark is supposed to look like.

For the entrées, I had the oxtail Ramen and that one they did good with, I mean you cant mess up ramen.......my oxtail had meat and was stewed well. I wish there were choices added (corn, scallion, parsley, maybe throw some pork belly in there)

But my friend's meal was trash, she ordered the oxtail meal with rice -- first, her oxtail was extremely sweet like syrup was added and the rice was uncooked and unseasoned. And I felt horrible because I chose this place after seeing it popped up on FB, big regret smh

Their bar is A1/outstanding but for the love of God stay away from their food.

I'd give 1 star but the bartender did her thing so I don't want to drag her down with the kitchen but fire ya head...

I’ve come here at least 3-4 times prior to writing this review. Service has always been wonderful, staff is great! Before my experience last night, I usually would say that their food is BOMB and quality and quantity are both great for the price you pay, HOWEVER, not anymore. I’m not sure if management changed, if the chef was different or he needs a refresher on the recipes but my 28$ plate contained 4 pieces of oxtail that wasn’t even cooked properly or as flavorful as it used to be, the stew barely had any veggies, or gravy, and the portion was cut in half compared to the other times I’ve visited. My oxtail stew used to come in an entire plate on its own with way more than 4 pieces of Oxtail with a small bowl of rice on the side. Instead, they gave me one plate with more than half the plate covered in rice and a few pieces of oxtail on the side and it did NOT taste great. Took my friends there for the first time since I don’t live in the area and they were extremely disappointed as well, one of them has tried Heat in the past and also said it was not even close to how it used to taste. Heat, you’re charging me the same price for less quantity and quality as before, I get we’re in a economic downfall but we should still get our...

Finally leaving a google review after giving this place multiple chances and tries. Theres been numerous occasions where something was wrong with the food or order. But our most recent experience: we ordered a chicken chowmein and asked if they could leave out the bell peppers. This meal usually comes with other veggies as well, but we only asked for no bell peppers. When I got home and opened the food, these people gave us plain chowmein noodles, no veggies at all. Literally plain, bare noodles. I’m like okayyyy, no problem, hopefully it still tastes good. Nope, it was drenched in black pepper and salt. Not to be rude but, are they cooking in the dark? Again, this is not the first time we’ve had bad food from them. Another time, they tried to overcharge us by giving us the wrong receipt to sign. They first presented us with the right receipt so we can confirm the price, then took our credit card, then came back with a receipt that was triple the price so we could sign it. Was this a mistake? Perhaps, but please inspect your receipts before signing. Overall, I've Found that this restaurant has a hard time taking directions when placing phone orders and even ubereats order despite leaving special notes for them. Order at...

This review is long overdue! I visited a few weeks ago, and let’s just say I was definitely feeling the Jack and Cokes. I’ve been here three times and tried the Oxtail Ramen twice and the blackened salmon. The Oxtail Ramen was something new and unique, packed with flavor and nice, huge chunks of oxtail—very filling and satisfying. The blackened salmon was new to me, with a smoky, sweet taste that wasn’t too spicy, and it had a nice bit of crunch. My boy ordered the lamb, and he really enjoyed it. Everything was great, as far as I can remember, because the photos in my album look amazing! If you’re not into loud music, it’s best to come earlier because it gets pretty lit at night. And they don’t play with the drinks, so definitely don’t drink and drive. Highly recommend this spot for great vibes and even better food!

The food was very good. The jerk chicken and rice combo comes with a WHOLE LOT of rice and a little bit of chicken. But the food was good and I would order again. Spices are authentic, I come from a Guyanese and Jamaican background and their food reminds me of my grandmothers! Good! Jerk chicken was grilled just right and still tender. And their pepper sauce was really hot! Which is a good thing, tastes authentic! Only thing I don’t like is they don’t let you switch around your orders or pick your sides too much which usually in a Caribbean restaurant you’re free to do so. But Overall great quality of food, will order again👍🏽 The staff comes off a bit impatient and rude, but maybe there was a miscommunication. Update: I ordered from here a second time and got exactly what I was looking for. Will be ordering Again!
