I was walking by Hey Yogurt in my work attire when someone from the shop kindly offered my coworker and me a free drink. We decided to try the Purple Rice yogurt, and I have to say, this was my first time ordering yogurt from a business instead of just grabbing some from the supermarket.

The yogurt was beyond good—smooth, creamy, and packed with flavor. The Purple Rice added a unique texture and taste that made it stand out. Plus, it’s not just delicious; it’s also very healthy and filling, making it a perfect snack or meal replacement. I discovered Hey Yogurt recently and was hooked! I happened to stop by when they had a BOGO, and was ecstatic. I ordered the mango yogurt, and the manager/owner took such great care in packing it up for me. it was a hot day and when I asked for a bag for both of the drinks, he put each drink into its own plastic bag, filled it with ice, and then put both into a cooler bag. He also gave me an additional bag simply because I mentioned what a neat bag it was. Each of the cups also had a cute hand written message on it. I wish I could give him 10 stars for the exceptional service!

I’ve been trying to find a good yogurt drink with purple rice in NY for a while; there’s a good spot in Hawaii called CowCow Tea that got me hooked. So far everything has been disappointing.

When I saw this place open up, I decided to give it a try. The purple rice isn’t an add on like boba—it’s its own drink. However when I asked them if they could add it anyways to the banana yogurt they obliged. It’s amazing—the ingredients taste very fresh (especially if you get less sugar) and there is no presence of artificial flavors (there’s actual puree!). I will definitely be coming back here—the staff was very friendly and welcoming—and hopefully they can make the purple rice an add on to any drink...
