UPDATE: Circling back to amend my review as the staff at Impact has made an effort to fix the below, which I greatly appreciate. They now allow special instructions on GrubHub to describe allergies, and reached out to me directly for support. Thank you Impact team for taking these steps! It will go a long way for your customers. There are some serious customer service issues here. First—as someone with celiac and lots of allergies, I am absolutely thrilled this place opened. I love the food, and am so thankful to have another great option come to the neighborhood. But they do not allow allergy notes (special instructions) through third party apps which is really unfortunate and dangerous, given most of the customer base here will have allergies. This has caused issues a few times when I order through my employer Grubhub. My most recent order got mixed up, the wrong wrap came that contained dairy which I am severely allergic to—thankfully recognized before eating but fear the next person won't be so lucky. It is also extremely difficult to obtain details about allergens from the online menu (besides the common ones that are listed), unless you get in touch which them, which is very difficult to do. There is no way to contact the restaurant on the phone. I've texted with their customer service and provided this feedback—they've been nice and helpful when I could reach them, but there NEEDS to be a way to call the restaurant and flag allergies. It's incredibly dangerous and irresponsible to not have these capabilities, especially for an allergen friendly restaurant. Also, it should be more than manageable to remove an allergen and accommodate modifications (i.e. remove the feta). I've never heard of a place that prides themselves on healthy allergen food not allowing this and that does not sit...

Although it was a soft opening and you would expect staff to be overly friendly, I will tell you each & every one of them were! The atmosphere is a welcoming one, the menu is all gluten free, seed oil free and refined sugar free. Great for celiac disease people or the gluten intolerant community. I chose the Warrior Salad bowl which was delicious. Everything is made on location including the salad dressings and their deserts (carrot cake & dark chocolate cookie was spot on delicious). They also make cold pressed juices in which I had the Smooth Roots (carrot, beets, red apple, parsley, lemon) - so refreshing! My guest and I had a great experience at Impact Kitchen. Natalia greeted and welcomed us at the door. She explained the concept of IK and gave us a quick tour of the menu items. I was very pleased to find that they have healthy plant-based/vegan options and gluten free. The staff at IK were knowledgeable and friendly. I had the zesty Mexican bowl w/tempeh, green smoothie and protein cookie and everything was delicious. Brett followed up on us before leaving to make sure Impact Kitchen meet our expectations and it sure did! I will def be returning and recommending IK to my neighboring local friends.
