I came here on Memorial Day for brunch, which then turned out to just be an early dinner because of how long it took to be seated, get our menus, have our drink orders taken, and we had to ask for water 3 times before receiving it. Me and 3 of my friends were inside before we sat ourselves outside and there was a few customers outside who seemed aggravated with the service as we waited for our drinks (which we shouldāve taken as a sign to leave but unfortunately we gave them the benefit of the doubt - costing us an hour of our time that weāll never get back). We arrived at 3ish and did not get to place our drink orders in until 3:45pm. The brunch also ends at 4 and so we figured we could do their happy hour instead, which starts at 4pm - 7pm. The bartender, not the waitress/hostess, came outside to take our drink orders and when we asked if he could mark our drinks as happy hour pricing he said he couldnāt because it was not 4 pm yet. We received our drinks at 4:10 (yes, 25 mins after we ordered themā¦)
The drinks were very good, I got a Lula margarita and their piƱa colada was frozen (which I presume is already premade). We got the short rib and potato empanadas to start, which were very delicious but overpriced for 2k which are split into halves. The filling was delicious and the green sauce was a perfect match for the appetizer. We all ordered the Waygu burger from the āBrunchā menu because one of us wanted to order the birria pizza which was not available until 4:30 (make it make sense).
The burgers were the best choice as it was massive and cooked to my liking (although, the waitress didnāt ask - it was medium rare). The dressing on the salad was delicious and the truffle fries were good. We had ordered another round of drinks but my one friend ordered her second drink when the first round of drinks was delivered. She waited a little over 45 mins for her coconut mojito. The waitress told us that the bartender was new and it was clear that they were short-staffed but on Memorial Day?
Anyways, we ordered 4 tequila shots and the waitress told us they were free of charge and on the house given the fact that they also messed up a drink order the second time around. They gave us a drink we did not ask for so they let us have that although and then brought us the corrected drink. I felt really bad for the staff as they were clearly trying their best, but management needs to do better with making sure the have enough people to service the large indoor and outdoor space they have!
Overall, Iām very pleased with the quality of food and drinks. However, the service was beyond beliefā¦thereās definitely room for improvement. Given the fact that I was really excited to try this place because Iāve seen it hyped all over Instagram and Tiktok. Iām not sure Iād ever come here again, especially since they had the audacity to add suggested tip options of 20%, 25% or 30% ON TOP of a mandatory card...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWish I would of gone elsewhere. I seen this place on tictoc a while back and wanted to go here for a long time. I went yesterday with my friends to celebrate an early Cinco de majo I live deep in queens she lives by central park we ubered it here so the uber itself was $54. I made reservations for nothing because it was empty. When we got there we were seated right away. I was so excited to try their specialty cocktail and asked for the coco loco they didnt have cream of coconut so I couldn't get that me and my friend decided to go with a pitcher of passion fruit margarita and ordered the mixed ceviche as a appetizer she ordered chursco with fries and the salad that came with it. I ordered the salmon that looked so good on the menu and a side of garlic lemon brocolini. We got the ceviche before our drink which was a first for me at any restaurant the plantain chips were soggy and droopy I couldn't eat it just ate the ceviche. Then they gave put pitcher of the passion fruit margarita which was litterly filled to the top with ice it was crazy so we got a pitcher of ice and little drink. my friend got her charusco it was so chewy and she ordered it medium the fries we the cheap skinny fries you purchase frozen at the supermarket. My salmon didnt have the toppings on the menu and the skin was on it. I peeled the skin off and picked it up it was rubbery I put it aside and took a small taste of the salmon and right away spit it out it tasted disgusting and the texture felt like mucus my stomach turned. I right away called our waiter and told him I cant eat this look at the skin and look at the salmon he took it and asked me to order something else. At this point I was turned off from the ceviche to the pitcher filled with a ton of ice to this so I told him I dont want anything else is fine. Then I reached to taste the broccoli that I ordered as the side order and litterly it was cold. At this point I was over it and wanted the check to leave my friend was still chewing on that churasco lol. Another waitress approached me and apologized and ask if I wanted to get anything else then asked what was wrong with the salmon and I explained also the broccoli that should of been fresh and hot she agreed it was cold and told me she was going to speak to the chef. There was 2 full cups of ice on the table because every time we poured our drink nothing but ice came out the pitcher still full of ice and no drink. We got our check they still charged me for the salmon and brocolini I called for the waitress and she removed both out our bill. We also paid $66 dollars for that pitcher of ice that we only got 3 drinks in small cups out of it. I will never ever return here even if I get paid to eat here no thanks expensive food is horrible and I mean horrible and you pay for ice not liquer. This was...
