This is a Chipotle with Indian food and indian flavors. Key ingredients are on mild side From Indian Spice level perspective. They offer couple options for each Genre of Foodie - i.e. Indian Vegetarian with Paneer, Indian Vegan, and Chicken option or Make your own bowl to customize it which also includes avocado to add more protein on vegetarian/vegan. To spice it up They give multiple versions of Chutney (various spice level sauce) plus Dahi (Indian Version of Yogurt) which make this perfect option. I wouldn't goto Chipotle wherever i know i can find 'INDAY' Franchise. They also have side option for mini naan, Samasa and Saag Paneer for those who has mini appetite but frequent eaters like myself :).
I love the fact that they have treasured the authenticity of Bhatiya cooking as well as spices and have made this brand to actually promote Bhartiya fast food in cool environment with some modern day twist like - readymade Masala chai with coconut milk and mango lassi woth Coconut Dahi. Of course I love my dairy too much in my chai and lassi so I skipped those. Don't forget it's fast food place so settings are on side rails like another NYC fastfood location however much cleaner and better vibes.
I gave 4 stars to Atmosphere as It is Indian good so my preference is that music should match it and have indian music even if instrumental vs hiphop or Spanish. I would recommend this place for everyone who loves indian or Vegetarian food and prefers that it's made by keeping our...
Read moreLocation: Located around the corner of many hotels, this unassuming spot could be easily missed. In fact I think I passed it, and out of the corner is my eye saw Indian or something. I did a quick rating look on maps, and ventured in.
Ambiance/Service: clean, modern decor location with few places to sit. They seem to mostly cater to take-out with a well orchestrated ordering and system. The downside is not knowing that, I wasn't sure where to order and how to get my food.
I figured it out but it took a few.
Menu: The menu is clever. It had a number of good choices, including some very Western influence options like Indian flavored meats over salads. That's what I opted for having to takeaway.
Food: I got the Indian flavored salmon over fresh greens. Honestly it was an excellent, excellent salad. The greens were just iceberg lettuce, it was a variety of wonderful greens and flavors with a beautifully seasoned salmon fillet braised to perfection. I really enjoyed my lunch here.
New York has lots of choices, and the question is would I go there again? Absolutely. But it'll likely depend on where I was staying. When I travel uptown or to midtown from it? Not likely. But if I was in the neighborhood, absolutely...

Review on March 11th, 2025 This was a lunch takeout. The kiosk options were limited, and there was no one at the counter to customize. Thought of getting Kale and rice/quinoa but I could only pick 1 at kiosk. No option to pay more for extra base. Opted for extra protein, selected Paneer. The portion of paneer was small, 6 medium to small cubes, some clumped together. This was supposed to be "Saag Paneer," but it was Paneer pieces with Saag sauce/gravy added on top...really? In contrast, the portion of another protein option, Chickpeas (Chole), was good. Wanted to try a few toppings but restricted to 2 at kiosk. All this meant a soggy meal with no grains to soak up the...
