I’ve always wanted to try the Indian king biryani house food truck since this food truck would have a huge line every time (pre-pandemic) during lunch hours. The menu is very well displayed and huge given the size and the fact this is a food truck and not a restaurant (well, it’s a restaurant on wheels anyway). With all this said, let’s talk about the food itself.

I’ve never had such great tasting food from a food truck before. The food was flavorful and wasn’t too spicy but had enough spice to entice your tastebuds. The quantity was humongous. We had taken a couple of chicken keema rice and let me tell you, the chicken and rice was amazing. The rice was very well cooked and the chicken too was tender and juicy. There’s soda available as well. The prices were good given the quantity of the food at display.

This food truck accepts all the major credit cards available on the market (I didn’t know this so I had taken cash with me) so that was something new that I got to know. Overall, I’d recommend this place to anyone who enjoys a good flavorful...

This has to be one of the worse over rice bowls I have ever gotten. I am not understanding the hype.

#1: Rice was undercooked or overcooked. It was very stale. Could be rice from the night before. #2: Chicken was overcooked, it was stringy and hard. #3: To much undesirable items in the bowl. While I do appreciate their effort of flavoring, I don’t want a whole massive stick of cinnamon, curry leave, and cardamom in my food. #4: Flavoring was off and tasted bizarre, I had the Chili chicken and lamb over rice. #5: 11$ is quite a bit, it seems like they are always increasing prices. No side salad. Portions are mid.

If you want India food, go to an Indian restaurant (order lunch special to save money).

If you want Street food go to another well rated cart.

I also went here before a while back and had the same thoughts, so this is definitely not a one off thing. Never going here again.

If you do decide to go, just know your stomach will hate you.

Even by food truck standards,...

Stumbled upon this hidden gem while exploring New York's Battery Park, and I couldn't be happier that I did. The culinary experience I had at this food truck left me thoroughly impressed and satisfied. One of the highlights of my visit was the incredible Biryani and chicken over rice that I ordered. The flavors were absolutely outstanding, and every bite was a delightful fusion of spices and textures. As a spice enthusiast, I was thrilled to find that the rice had just the right amount of heat, adding an extra layer of excitement to the meal. Beyond the delectable food, I was equally impressed by the efficient and friendly service I received. If you happen to find yourself near Battery Park, do yourself a favor and give their dishes a try. You won't be disappointed. It's a hidden culinary treasure waiting to be discovered, and I'm grateful to have stumbled upon it during my time in...

small food cart parked in FiDi blending flavors from India and the Middle East into a small variety of rice platters, sandwiches, and savory eats. open from lunchtime to late evening most days--there's typically a small line that moves quickly as lunchtime draws the worker crowd / evenings pull a more tourist crowd. ordered a Chicken Tikka over rice while it will not be what you'd get in a sit-down Indian restaurant…it‘s still good but was more a fusion of flavors in a halal cart style...my order did its job--flavorful, satisfying, and filling. the serving of chicken and rice is ample; there's a tiny salad on the side, and you can top your food with a tangy white sauce as well as hot sauce. service is relatively fast and friendly. and Zuccotti Park is right across the street if you want that al fresco experience without table service!
