Indian Xpress 2 — Restaurant in New York

My rating is for two online orders. The food is decent - not very good but manageable/okay. However, this restaurant is extremely irresponsible and callous when it comes to handling online orders. They don't have drivers available for pickup, don't let the customers track the order or even contact the driver. This would have been still manageable had they not repeatedly (happened twice with me) delivered the food at least an hour later than promised. The worst is the attitude of the people who pick up the calls - one of them still apologized, the other woman did not even care to do that. After the delivery time has passed and you call they just tell you, "Your order will be late." This restaurant does not care about the online customers. They have zero respect for our time. Never place an online order in this restaurant - that is my suggestion after two back to back terrible...

I’ve never really eaten my share of Indian food but today I just felt it was the right time to give it try and I found this place. Upon walking in it seemed like the place was closed as it was empty but it wasn’t, a nice man seated us and took our orders. The menu was extensive and had plenty of good options and honestly it was a bit hard to pick something as it all sounded great. We at first thought the prices were a bit expensive but once the food came out it was worth it. The potion sizes were a lot more the what we expected and the food overall was amazing, it was full of incredible flavor and filled us up nicely. All the while the server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. At the end I was surprised as to why the place was so empty, it deserves more attention as Im most definitely coming back for their amazing...

I ordered take out from this resteraunt the other night. Love Indian food. But a lil skeptical. SI not known for Indian cuisine. But I gotta tell you food was excellent. I had the south Indian chicken with Basmatti rice. My girlfriend had classic chicken curry with basmatti rice. We both had a side of Nam bread the garlic flavored one . Phenomenal I was highly pleased. Reasonably priced generous portions. In fact just finished what I had left over from the other night. I will be ordering again from here. NOTE if it's a two people only order one piece of the Nam bread is more than enough one slice is humongous definitely one for two people is fine. And at about 5 bucks per piece of bread im definitely fine with one piece for two people . Oh one other thing the Indian spices are perfectly seasoned. Not overly spicy or under...
