I went to this location many times and the food was not as good as other locations in New Jersey. I went today at 7:25 pm and had an online order that said it will be ready by 7:35pm so I went in and saw that it was very busy and was waiting for them to finish other people’s orders. When I first went in the store there was 3-4 workers. One of them was next to the register where there was a pick up sign above so I went up to him to show him my name on my phone along with other delivery drivers. He was very rude and was telling me and the other drivers to stop showing him our phones mind you that was me showing him my phone for the first time since I went to the store. I was like I will just wait on the side for them to call my name. 10 minutes nothing then 20 minutes after 7:35pm I went up to the other workers making the sandwich’s and told them you guys said we are making your sandwich 10 minutes ago. They were both nice and respectful and they said oh sorry we have it here. I saw it and I said that’s not the bread I wanted they said we don’t have it . I told them I’ve been waiting here for 20 minutes and I know you guys are busy but come on. Then the worker that previously refused to look at my phone came fasttt from the back and was causing an argument with me. He told me you don’t want your food and when I confronted him about being rude to me and the delivery drivers he got so mad and defensive and threw my food in front of everyone in the store. Then he told a costumer behind me which I’m sure was his friend cause he was chatting with him before. He told the costumer to kick me out of the store and I was so shocked then he proceeded to call me crazy mind you all this and I didn’t even raise my voice or nothing just because I said you are rude. He said I canceled my orders which is not true and that was after he threw my food away. Jersey mikes please please train your employees how to treat people with respect. I have never been to any fast food restaurant where the employees treated costumers and delivery drivers like this. And I’m sure I didn’t get...
Read moreI stopped by today to get an original sandwich and immediately noticed a long line, with only two staff members at the front handling everything. Both were Hispanic men who worked incredibly hard and remained courteous despite the pressure. Since the sandwiches are made fresh, one person had to cut the deli meat while also trying to manage the rest of the line. Ideally, there should be separate staff members for slicing, assembling (lettuce, tomato, etc.), and working the register. These two gentlemen were doing it all. I did see a woman working the grill in the back, but it was clear the store was understaffed.
While I truly commend the two men at the front for their professionalism and grace under pressure, this situation points to a larger issue: poor staffing decisions. Upper management needs to ensure there are enough team members to meet demand, especially during busy hours. Customers shouldn’t have to wait, and employees shouldn’t be stretched this thin.
All three team members; the two guys at the front and the woman on the grill; deserve a bonus for their hard work, patience, and dedication. They held it down with grace, but they shouldn’t have had to do it alone.
I also saw orders flying in from what I would imagine are Grubhub and DoorDash—

Read moreThis was my second time frequenting this location of Jersey Mike's and by far the WORST.
At the time I arrived, there were 3 customers ahead of me. There was only one worker slicing cold cuts for sandwiches, the second was in the back preparing orders for takeout. The first worker refused to complete the sandwiches (adding toppings and spreads) and waited for the second to finish. This was all while the first worker continued to take orders of new customers coming in. And once the second worker was able to come to the first worker's aid, he was doing the job of two people -- finishing sandwiches and checking people out, which required the worker to remove his gloves in between. I cannot emphasize enough how incredibly inefficient and slow this process was. I waited for nearly 20 minutes for my order to be completed. There was someone behind me who walked out because it was taking too long.
On top of the egregiously long wait time, even the completion of my wrap was flawed. The wrap was folded the weirdest of ways and was not completely closed.
On top of all this, in the process of waiting, the first worker was incredibly rude to two older women for whom English was not a first language and called one of them a "trouble-maker".
While I do enjoy the food at Jersey Mike's, I will no longer be a customer at...
