Just Salad — Restaurant in New York

I came here for a quick lunch. I placed my order online and I picked it up. I didn't see my order on the shelf for pick-ups. The cashier had it behind them and handed it to me when I told him my name. I had to ask for a fork, napkins, and a bag. The salad was a bit lacking. I thought they would have chopped and/or mixed the dressing but I guess they probably didn't want it to get soggy. The salad was tasty but I didn't like that the chicken was cold and it was chicken patty instead of chicken breast. It seems like it was a chopped-up nugget. Disappointed with the price. The volume of people that this tiny location serves is astounding. The entire staff is so thoughtful, kind and helpful while getting you out the door in a timely manner. Sammy runs a beautiful tight ship helping you grab a salad and make your next meeting. Such care and organization! As a New Yorker for decades and someone who runs events, I do appreciate Sammy can manage a line with a smile and get me out the door quickly amidst the lunch rush. I've been several times, and it always stresses me out. If you don't know exactly what you want, or what toppings are essential and what are extra (and it isn't listed anywhere visible), you'll receive a hearty helping of irritated, impatient looks from each staff member you encounter. And asking for clarification will get you short answers with more impatient glares. Sure, they are a very fast assembly line, but you better be able to keep up.
