New York Food Hunt | The #1 Roast Meat Shop You Can't Miss 🔥🔥🔥

If you’re craving authentic Chinese cuisine served with warmth and efficiency, King’s Kitchen is an absolute gem. This place is always bustling with energy—a clear sign of how beloved it is by locals and visitors alike—but despite the crowd, the service never falters. The servers are incredibly attentive, friendly, and manage the busy floor with ease. What really sets King’s Kitchen apart, though, is the food. Every dish arrives fresh, piping hot, and packed with flavor. The menu is extensive, but I can’t recommend their clay pot dishes enough—they are truly something special. My personal favorites? The braised brisket with tofu skin, which is melt-in-your-mouth tender and deeply savory, and the salted fish and chicken with eggplant, a beautifully balanced dish that’s both bold and comforting. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time diner, King’s Kitchen never disappoints.

Kings Kitchen quickly became one of my favourite Chinese restaurants during my visit to NY. Despite its tiny layout and closely spaced tables, the restaurant offered a diverse menu at reasonable prices. From fried noodles to congee, the array of dishes was impressive. The bustling atmosphere, while a testament to its popularity, did mean that the tables were close together, limiting privacy and creating a less-than-cozy feel. The service, though acceptable, left room for improvement, as the staff seemed occupied with their conversations. Overall dining experience and the quality of the food make Kings Kitchen a recommended stop, especially if you find yourself in Brooklyn -Fried wonton 4/5 -Yellow Eel rice casserole 3/5 -Roasted duck 4/5 rice roll with BBQ pork 4/5 -Soy sauce chicken leg noodle soup 4/5.

MUST READ FIRST!!!!

Ok...so here goes. I had to do this. This was my first time coming here. My wife's friend suggested this place for having great tasting food. To be honest, I never got to taste the food and this is why....When you walk into this establishment, you are welcomed with a great smell of different foods but that as far as my compliments will go.

In the entrance they have a cashier and a small cutting station where they have duck, pork, and chicken hanging on racks. And only two cutting blocks (one of which they only use). They cut all kinds of meats including fish, octopus and anything you can think of on this one cutting block with the same meat cleaver. The worker was handling all of the meat like an assembly line. There were so many different types of juices and greases caked all over the place, so if you order duck, you best believe that you are eating fish, chicken, beef, pork, octopus and anything else you can think of.

Underneath the racks of various meats, there is a sink that collects all of the greases and fats that fall off these meats. This sink was not only full of these greases and fats, but also had racks of ribs and other meats floating in it. This meat that was floating in the sink was also being served to hungry patrons. I also observed woman that was cutting up the food wiping her nose and scratching herself with the gloves on and you guessed it, continued cutting up the food.

The entire front area where this practice was happening was also outright filthy. So much dust everywhere. The air conditioning unit looks as if you can knit a sweater with all of the dust that was caked onto it. I can only imagine how much dust and bacteria would blow onto the racks of meat whenever it is turned on. If the front area looks like this, then I can only imagine what they're doing in the main kitchen.

The employees do not practice anything sanitary. Food, trash, and even money is handled without even changing gloves. Wow.

Overall, my experience there was so bad that I had rushed home and had a horrible New Year experience in my own restroom and I didn't even eat the food. Please beware. If you're into risking things for an adrenaline rush then this is the place for you. Otherwise, beware. I truly hope that the owners read this and upgrade their practices.

MY GOD....HOW DID THEY HAVE...

This place is a 3/5 in person due to prices and 2/5 ordering due to prices and portions . This place rips the subtotal of a receipt and writes a general money value like 30USD on your uber eate receipt . Moreover , the prices are higher than in store, about 20% overall and I feel like you also get 10% less food, especially the more costly items like meat but a lot of rice added . The meat tastes weird , like they put MSG powder all over and it does not taste fresh , it tastes almost like its preserved with some "chemicals". To make matters worse , you usually get a lot or bone and unwanted non meat parts added to your meal like cartilage . Overall this place is probably okay in-person and just a sad thing for delivery on their third party platforms . I have never seen a receipt ripped with a " general USD price written on the paper like 34.20 total in reality says 30 USD ." Its almost like they give you as much food as much money you pay instead of it being a dish . I guess this is just...

They sort of do a little of everything, but unfortunately everything isn’t done spectacularly well. It’s still satisfying enough to come here for a meal, but most items have a better alternative. I will give them credit for having a pretty decent clay pot rice in Brooklyn and I’ve yet to have better, but there’s improvement to be desired. They’re stingy with the toppings for the rice and have absolutely no vegetables for most of them, if i recall correctly. I’ve also had bones in the salted fish one, so that’s a bit disappointing. Theres very little grilled rice at the bottom, which is one of my favorite parts.

It is pretty cool how they do delivery and take out for the pot, Ill credit them there. You can nab a worn but usable pot for like two bucks and make your own.

There’s no springiness to the rice noodles. The char siu and roast pork are pretty good, but quality is inconsistent. Overall,...
