La Bella Mixteca Taqueria & Mexican Grill — Restaurant in New York

I don’t understand the positive reviews, and I’m highly suspicious that they’re from family and friends. I had some of the most tasteless, bland tacos here.

Their menu is enormous as well and has a lot of random items like lasagna and fish sandwiches, which bodes poorly on the quality of food for such a small Mexican restaurant and kitchen. The appetizer chips were stale, and the salsa was mostly water. Everything is also weirdly overpriced for Harlem. Atmosphere is okay, it’s a little tight inside.

All I could say is this spot is NOT going to last long on 8th avenue. The fact that they’re on DoorDash is crazy. I just ordered a burrito from them this burrito don’t even have TASTE . Burrito was $14.00 plus extra sour cream on the side rounded that up to $17.00. I’m so baffled because I truly hate wasting money on food. It didn’t have not one taste of seasoning the sour cream was giving it more taste then the actual burrito the chicken didn’t even have a HINCE of seasoning lmao. HORRIBLE! I ate here about over a month or so ago. I ordered plain rice and beans. After I ate this, my throat was course and I felt getting a sore throat and kept spitting out. Disgusting! I remember when I ordered this food in person, it took AWHILE for the food to come out. Not sure if the cook PUERCO put something nasty in my food that got me sick.
