La Fiesta — Restaurant in New York

Best part about this location is that they are clean, fast, nicely affordable, and easily accessible by public transportation. This is a small To-Go/Takeout restaurant offering *seating for 18 people. *Note: Handmade sign on a wall stating they have hamburger and french fries. Our server was pleasant, did her best in accomadating our party of three. Food/drinks came pretty quick. I ordered 'bistec con guacamole' *served with rice/beans/salad which wasnt that great. Server was busy so I went to pay the $35 bill. The lady handling the register is not very friendly and clearly misunderstood me when I asked her for change of 20. She thought I meant for her to keep the 20. (At this point I know my spanish isn't as sharp as it used to be but 20 dollars tip on a $35 bill and I couldnt even cut through the steak, hmmm......) ;D After clarifying my request I received my correct change. Overall, I will come back again-- *I just wont order the steak ;) They are clean, fast, nicely affordable, have Juan Gabriel serenading through the speakers, and easily accessible by public transportation. Besides, I want see the lady behind the register smile. As with any rating, 5-stars or not, hope your experience is more enjoyable than mine...

I would give them no star but doesn’t give the option Very Very bad service the lady in the front who takes the order have a nasty attitude And I’ve had called to place an order on 3 chickens she asked are u coming I said yes I’m waiting for the train then she said yeah after that I went and the chicken was sold she said i don’t hold the chicken for no one unless it’s paid after that she told me if I wanted to wait I said no thank you then the second time I went in with my kids they had grab a bad of chips and I wasn’t going take it she immediately charged me for it I told I wasn’t taken the chips she said your kids touched it idk who she is but definitely need to go if she don’t know how to treat the Customers like i pay for the food there I don’t...

I’m honestly disgusted by my experience at this place. I walked in wanting to buy some snacks and maybe order food, but I was treated as if I didn’t belong. One of the staff members literally told me I’d “destroy the snacks just by reading the ingredients.” Like… what? I’ve never experienced something like that in my life. I can’t help but feel like I was treated that way because of my race, and that makes it even more upsetting. I will never eat from there. Smh...
