Today was my first and last time ordering from this place. I ordered a chicken Cesar salad for my mom, in which she said the chicken was very bland. That is not the best part. I ordered a side of rice and beans and I specifically asked the lady over the phone if the beans had any kind of meat in them and she confidently says no. I am a vegetarian for health reasons and cannot have specific things. Believing in her word, I started eating and noticed a gummy texture, I realized it was pork. I spit it out and instantly felt nauseous. This place needs to properly train their staff and if she was not so sure she should’ve asked. Thankfully I am fine, but things could’ve been a lot more worse. This is NOT okay. I am disgusted and also left hungry. I’m discouraged and decided not to go back as 8pm is reaching and the curfew is implemented. Whoever works here and sees this, I will save the beans so you can take a look yourself. Please double check and not give misinformation before putting your customers at risk for your malpractice. I’m only giving 2 stars because the lady was nice. Do not order mixed drinks here. Stick to beer or maybe their margaritas may drinkable but that's an unknown. Food is excellent however. Service is ok. I had the bandeja tipica plate and it was delicious with a ton of food and it's very reasonably priced.

The bloody mary was absolutely undrinkable. It was served with no ice and lacked any type of seasoning. My wife had the Jajaja Jack with was undrinkable as well. It was described as containing Jack Daniel's Honey.. I dont know what spirit they used but it was most definitely not Jack Daniel's Honey. Also described it as having muddled blue berries (they were most definitely not muddled) and fresh mint (contained no fresh mint).

It was a shame as we intended to pregame here and have drinks and food prior to another event. Looks like it could be an awesome place to hang as they have tons of TV's and seating. Instead we found a local bar up the block and drank some ice cold modelo's.

Also want to add we did mention to our waiter about the drinks and while he apologized didn't offer any other solution. I didn't ask for the drinks to be removed from the bill and...

If you want to get treated like a king or queen when it comes down to service, This is the place to come to. The food is amazing, with a huge menu selection to choose from you won't be disappointed. Our server Roberto was amazing in the way he treated our entire family. The food and drink recommendations were excellent! We were celebrating a birthday and had an amazing time! There are so many good restaurants to choose from in this neighborhood and I have been to most of them, nothing beats good food and excellent service which this restaurant has for miles.
