Lupita's Mexican Food — Restaurant in New York

Long story short horrible owners do not support them. I used to work next to their restaurant, I bought so much food from them over the years it must have amounted to thousands, and not to mention I would give them great discounts on the merchandise I sold next door. Recently fell on hard times I went one day to ask the owner for a spare plate of food. Blatantly shooed me off like if I had lepracy. Mind u I supported their business for many years, yet when u ask for help of some spare food once they look at u like trash. Mind u these people know me for years and look how true colors reveal themselves. I hope nobody buys their food anymore, and on top of that they have mice and rats in there. If I could give no stars I would. Ordered 2 pulled pork tacos but when I got my food the pork wasn't pulled they were just chunks of pork and about half the meat was chunks of fat. When I asked the lady at the counter why there was so much fat, with an attitude she said that's they way they make it. Then I asked her why the pork wasn't shredded and again with an attitude she said that's the way they make it there. I informed her that they should not have it written on the menu as pulled pork if it is not pulled pork and again she said that's the way they make it. Very good Mexican place . They have the usual 🌮 🌮quesadillas , Cemitas & tortas. They also have a steam table with rice , beans and a daily special that changes .

Ive seen meatballs , cheese stuffed chicken breast. Very good local place .Good prices and the sauce was in point 👌🏽

I want to try Quesadilla de Huitlacoche which is corn Fungi and a delicacy in Mexico. They also have flour quesadlillas or handmade.
