This should have been a five star review. Atmosphere is clean, friendly and relaxing. The cool lighting and tree branches overhead make for good ambiance. I sat at the bar and asked the bartender what drink he had just made for another person at the other end of the bar. He told me it was a Manchego sour which was very refreshing and hit the spot. I ordered the tosta de setas y queso which was amazing. The bread was grilled to perfection with melted Manchego and mushrooms. Loved it, the cheese, bread and mushrooms blend together nicely for an explosion of flavor. I then had the seared tuna salad which was also delicious. The only downside is that the mangos were not ripe. They were hard and unsweet. It took away from the overall tasty and satisfying dish. The tuna, quinoa, greens were all fantastic. Given the mangos were so prominent I deducted a star. Lastly, the bartender was wonderful and mixes a great cocktail. Overall, I loved it and look forward to coming back.

Wish i could have liked the place. The people working were nice, the atmosphere is perfect for a date night, the food on the other hand was a complete miss. I had the ramen and it was salty, i mean SALTY. I thought Bloomber put a cap on salt use in NYC. This place did not get the memo. The pork in the dish was ok. I could have sworn the broth was made from a premade ramen soup base packet and watered down. Got bacon date, I had high hopes only to be crushed. Ordered the brussle sprout with bacon, because it smelled nice from someone elses table, what a dissapointment. Did not eat more than 2! I did eat the bacon that was on top. The other item that was ok was the octopus balls. A bit chewy but considering the other items I think it was the high light of dinner. Needless to say, we left the place and got a crispy slice at Lea's. Walking around there seem to be plenty of places that are much much better.

Had a very nice dining experience here would give them 4 1/2 stars. Wait staff were friendly and definitely recommended the correct amount of dishes without trying to oversell anything. They were also great about checking on food intolerances. The food was solid! Tuna tartare delicious and nice combination with the mango and avocado. Found myself wishing for a few more mango pieces. The Potatoes Bravas was legit and similar to what I’ve had in Spain - wished it was just a little more sauce - but guess that’s personal preference. The Octopus was the star of the evening it was pretty much perfect and would highly recommend it. The Iberico Salichon was tasty and loved that it came with a side of seasoned olives. Drinks were great!

I'm going to try to be fair about this joint. I came here yesterday with my family. The vibe inside is like nature meets gothic with a hint of modernization. Ok, I'll start with the good. The atmosphere is very chill and it does feel like your in a natural setting for what it is. The bartender and waitress was cool and professional to some extent. Ok the important parts...the FOOD! It was actually pretty good. I ordered the spanish salad and my wife ordered coquettes plus an extra dish. Heres when it starts to fall for me. I ask the waitress if they have any coffee (granted it was around 8pm). She did try to make a batch for me and the coffee was horrendous! I'm an expert at making coffee and I will judge based on my knowledge of coffee. She used TOO MUCH COFFEE, so it tells me she has no knowledge of how to make coffee, which is fine. However, if you work at a restaurant where coffee is served at a certain time I at least expect you to know how to make "SIMPLE COFFEE" like regular. Anyways, thats minus 1. The second part was that it took nearly 1 hour and 40 minutes to get the second dish my wife ordered, which is insane, but I will give it a pass. The reason for taking 2 stars was due to the rock bottom seats! I mean, these things were so hard, you could break a coconut on them. Overall, this place is pretty chill, but they should change the seats to softer cushions and have people with simple knowledge for coffee. Other than that, it was great. Not really a family...

My boyfriend and I were patient enough to wait the 30+ minutes to be seated. We were patient enough to wait an additional 35+ minutes to actually get our entree.

This score is coming from waiting all this time for such disappointing ramen. It was so bland and I honestly couldn't believe it.

I got the Salmon ramen with veggie broth + sweet potatoes. The broth barely had taste. The only flavorful thing was the salmon, barely. And it wasn't just me because my boyfriend had the same, except he had the chicken broth, how it's made originally.

ADDITIONALLY!!!!

  • the service wasn't great and the server didn't even check on us after we got our entree, otherwise I would've told them I didn't like it. We only finished our meal because we didn't have lunch so by the time we got out food, we were profoundly hungry.

** not to mention that the table next to us, who was sat after us, got their entree before us. Like 20 minutes before.

I guess the disappointment on my face and body language gave it away because someone came with a complementary flan dessert, which was appreciated, which is why I'm giving a 3 star rating.

The appetizers were so good and we were so appalled that the entree wasn't on the same level. We've had much better ramen for cheaper prices. We went well out of our way to get here expecting flavorful ramen.

We won't be returning but I hope this review is seen and changes will be made.
