NYC Deli & Bodega — Restaurant in New York

This place just opened and I stopped in to get a sandwich. The first thing I noticed so they have very good prices on everything! Soda, chips, sandwiches, all on the cheaper side, which is always a plus.

The other thing I noticed is they lean into some of the viral sandwiches and foods you see on the internet, which is great. I am going to try the pickle sandwich next and then the chopped cheese, but this time I just got a roast beef.

The sandwich maker was very nice and presented me with lots of options for my sandwich: different sauces, toppings, and 3 styles of buns/rolls.

I ultimately got a roast beef sandwich on a sesame roll with lettuce, tomato, hot pepper, onion, mayo, and chipotle sauce and he stacked it up! The sandwich was great and filling. It was really generous on the meat and the sauces he used gave it a little kick, which was refreshing as I like a little spice.

Walking into the store, everyone was very attentive and welcoming. I was offered a free sandwich of any choice as well as a cup of coffee. The store is very clean, organized and has nice lighting. Once receiving my order, the person behind the deli asked if I would like any other sauces on the side. I must say this is one of the most tastiest sandwiches I've had in a long time ! Good customer service is hard to find in this city, MUCH less from a place with Bodega in the title, but these guys are some of the most friendly and humble business owners i know. NYC deli and Bodega has a wide variety of options for whatever meets your needs. If they don't have it, they will order it. They're super anffordable and also stay open later than most stores. Not to mention, they make the BEST sandwiches and wraps. This comes in clutch when you're tired from working all day and just want to get something yummy and quickly.
