This is definitely my go to place for delivery. The food is always consistently good unlike other Chinese restaurants where the quality can vary greatly from very good to very bad, This is usually on time and i know what i'm getting so definitely a good addition to my list.

What I've had ...

Ha Gaw (Shrimp Dumplings) ... always a must in my order. TO me defining factor for a good dumpling is the dough nit being overly thick. While this one could be thinner it's still a very good thickness that it's overpowering to the shrimp.

Shu Mai (Shrimp and Pork Dumpling) ... not one of my favorites, but that's more because of personal taste where pork doesn't usually go with shrimp. It would have to be absolutely amazing for it to be one of my favorites and this one is not that.

Steamed Roast Pork Bun ... pretty good option. It could benefit from being a bit less sweet, but not a bad option.

Fried Egg Roll ... it's a fried egg roll. Nothing to write home about.

Fried Shrimp Roll ... Another must in my order. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this roll. the dough is so thin and the shrimp is so well done.

Braised Pork Belly Bun ... a bit to fatty for me. The sweet sauce is very tasty, but the fat is kind of a turn off.

Cashew Chicken ... Really, really good option. Good sauce and love the combination with the cashews.

Sesame or Sweet & Sour Chicken ... both good options for an entree. They can be too sweet, but the white rice will certainly take care of that.

BBQ Spare Ribs ... not a repeat for me. They were very tough and bony. the one dish i would say I've actually disliked from this restaurant.

Rolls (in general) ... while not the best sushi, pretty OK sushi for a neighborhood delivery place. Not point in mentioning because they're just good enough to have, but none have really called out to me as something to write about.

This is a take-out or delivery place. Yes, there are tables, but I wouldn't come to dine in. Hence, can't really comment on the service or ambiance as I've always ordered for takeout. The one thing I would say is that it looks very clean. You can't always say that about mostly delivery restaurants.

Hence, overall my review is really a middle of the road because there's enough positives to counter the negatives. Until I find something that is much better this will continue to be my go to Chinese delivery place. For a little bit this one lost to Pig Heaven, but Heaven's lack of consistency in quality made it...

It's a shame since this was once our go-to Chinese delivery. We will never be ordering from Ollies ever again. The past few times we have ordered the order arrives wrong. It's always missing key items. Most recently, no noodles were received for the pan fried noodles entrée, no dumpling sauce was included in the order, no scallion pancake sauce was included, the hot and spicy chicken seems of lower quality on the past few deliveries and two of the appetizers wasn't even in the bag. The lack of customer service was the icing on the cake. They could care less when we called. They just kept insisting that we go through Uber eats, rather than making it right. Ubereats was of NO HELP. They fought us on everything and ended up getting the cost of an appetizer refunded, when i feel the entire meal should have been refunded since every item was missing something. Do yourself a favor and do not order from here unless you enjoy being frustrated and...

Attempted to order through UberEats, ordered roughly $100 worth of Chinese food at 830PM. The delivery driver arrived early with what we expected to be our order. The driver opened his bag and quite obviously didn’t have that much food in his delivery bag. Our delivery driver called the store who then talked to me and stated there was nothing more they could do about giving our delivery driver the wrong order. They stated the driver, who had other deliveries to make, or myself could go to the store and pick up the order but there was nothing else they could do. When asked if the business could request another driver and send the food they said they were closing and there was nothing else they could do. Some awful customer service and little to no attention to detail when it comes to...

Though it bears the name “Ollie’s”, one should not compare it to the original restaurant on the Upper West Side. Even then, this “To Go” incarnation is a rather basic Chinese takeout joint. The lunch portion of the Yang Chow fried rice cost $11.95, plus tax. The beef with snow peas (also $11.95) had too much carrots and mushrooms, which seemed like a cheaper substitution for just using snow peas. There is a 4% surcharge which they call “processing fee” if you pay by credit card so it is a bit misleading for them to say there is a discount if you pay by cash because technically the total amount is not lowered with a cash payment but merely increased with a credit purchase.

Honestly the dim sum here is so reliable and yummy, I need to order it more consistently. My mom is born and bred Chinese and she loves the way Ollie's does dim sum. The har gow (shrimp dumplings) have a couple of pieces of whole shrimp in them (they're huge and rival Chinatown shrimp dumplings) and the shumai are equally humongous and delicious. The pork bun is nice and fluffy, though the filling is a bit too sweet for our tastes, I think that it serves most people's. I just gave it five stars on Grubhub reviews, had to come here to do it too.

Ollie's east 77th 2nd Ave Manhattan n.y. Ollie's is a small quaint chinese/Japanese cuisine take out. The tongatsu Ramen hits your craving for a quick fix in a run, portions are big, broth was delicious and chau shui hit the spot. Hargow dumplings was a bit soggy but very flavorful and young chow fried rice tasty but a bit dry, pork dumplings was tasty but a bit soggy dough, should of fried crispy. If your palette craves give Ollie's a try. This is in no comparison to Westside st( original restaurant)
