Phillies Pizzeria Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

I wish I could rate this place more but I can't. The front attendant/cashier is extremely rude. We can with a large group of 11. We arrived shortly after my brother's family. When I walked in with my family, I saw the lady handling the front and said politely that my brother and 2 small children were just seated so we can be directed to where there table was, her immediate response to me was "I don't know your brother" and refused to help while she was on her cell phone not doing her job. Then she said it again, how rude! All we wanted was for her assistance to be seated and she had an attitude with us. I brushed it off and found where my family was seated by ourselves. Although the front service was terrible, the wait staff and food was very good and our experience turned out better. However, the lack of customer service the moment we arrived left a bad experience overall and we do not plan to come back. For the management, after reading the reviews here, I see that I am not the only customer who has complained about this employee. If they want this business to succeed, customer service is a main part of what drives customers to return. Having her employed losses out on the profitability of this business. We spent almost $400 for our family dinner but I don't think we will return there. So sad they are losing customers...

I have come here a few times, and each time they were rude. My friend was bringing us our water and a guy said “Sweetheart, I’m only telling you this once, you are not allowed to bring drinks from outside places”. This was our personal water that was not even half full. After that, we ordered pizza and when we were going to sit down and the waiter said that we couldn’t sit there because it was “reserved”. We have been eating here for over an hour and the tables were completely empty. There were three of us, and he audacity to say pull up a chair at a two person table. Then, we see a group of people that ordered pizza just like us, and they are allowed to sit at those tables. While we were eating our pizza, I find a HAIR on my slice. I am disgusted and never coming back here again. I respectfully walked in and told the cashier that I just wanted to let them know that there was a hair on my slice. One of the cooks said to me that it’s probably my hair. There is no possible way that I could’ve cut a piece of my hair off and placed it under the sauce. He said that they all short hair and they all wear hats, yet I didn’t see him wearing a hat or a mask. I recommend not coming here nor will I ever be...

First and last time ! The young man that sat us down was very kind and nice. Waitress came by, my husband ordered a slice and Sicilian pizza! I ordered chicken parmigiana with Cesar salad. My husband’s pizza came right away. And then came a man to our table saying that he had never seen us before and that if we were ordering pizza we should have sat on the other side Because the table we were sitting at was for customers ordering meals and not pizza We were taken back and we just apologized as we didn’t know. As he walked away, it hit us and we said to each other, how come the waitress didn’t mention that to us or even when we were seated, not only that, people on the other side where the man said was for pizza eating were eating a dinner meal The young man that sat us down came over and asked if were ok. We told him what that man had said to us and that he had me us fell very uncomfortable and I asked to speak to the manager. He was very apologetic and said, that was the manager. My husband and I have never been at a restaurant and felt so offended and uncomfortable. It’s a shame, because the food was very good, but we will never go back again. We felt as we were...
