So thrilled our favorite establishment is back and better than ever. Pietro’s remains an enduring New York institution that continues to set the standard for timeless Italian dining. Every detail, from the service to the execution, reflects true culinary craftsmanship.
The Caesar salad is nothing short of legendary: crisp romaine, impeccably balanced dressing, and just the right touch of Parmesan. It is perfection in its simplicity and truly the best Caesar salad in the world.
The Red Snapper Marechiaro is a masterpiece. The fish is delicately prepared, accompanied by clams and a fragrant tomato wine sauce that captures the essence of the Amalfi coast. It embodies elegance and comfort in equal measure and is pure chef’s kiss.
Perhaps most impressive, Pietro’s maintains this same level of excellence even in delivery. The quality, flavor, and presentation travel flawlessly, offering the same exceptional experience you enjoy in the restaurant.
Pietro’s is not just a meal; it is a reminder of why classic Italian cuisine, when done right, never goes...
Read more1965 was when I first went to Pietro's on the 2nd floor on 45th Street and we kept going until they closed and moved to 43rd street when I gave them a 10 year time out. We returned and kept going until the Covid Virus and hadn't been there until last night when one of our friends made a reservation. It was packed. Then again, I don't like change. Most of us are on Medicare but they don't take it.Only knock is that the waiters often don't listen and pay attention. But, as others have said, think "red sauce Italian restaurant from the 60's". Peter, "Pietro" was my next door neighbor at 1175 York Avenue in 1965 and we used to bump into each other at the elevator. He...
