My fiance wanted to have her birthday party at Sweet & Vicious in Nolita. We called and spoke to the night manager and let him know we'd have 15-25 people coming and wanted to reserve a table. The day before the event we called to re-confirm with the day manager and he informed us that we would need to spend $300 to reserve the table.

Needless to say, we were at a loss. She remembered having good experiences at Pinks, so I contacted Elias, the manager. He immediately remembered me and my fiance and said he would reserve a whole section of the bar for us. He called back an hour later to confirm. I scrambled to tell our friends we were changing venues at the last minute due to the previous bar's egregious reservation stipulation.

From the moment we arrived, Elias started taking amazing care of us. He introduced us to one of the owners who learned it was my fiance's birthday. He thanked her for changing venues and selecting Pinks, and brought us a round of shots--on the house--to show appreciation for our patronage and wish her happiness on her birthday. Then he told us all her drinks that night were on the house. She tried to politely decline, but he insisted. And if you know how expensive cocktails can be in the city, you can understand how happy this made me.

Throughout the evening, Elias's service was flawless. His friendly, professional manner and strong skills at managing the bar really shined. A few members of our party (which turned out to be 21 people in total) confided in me that they'd never had such a wonderful experience at a bar in Manhattan in their lives.

Elias helped me sneak-in the birthday cake, secretly lit the candles, and all the workers surprised my fiance by singing together. They even had sparklers!

I cannot recommend Pinks enough. Aside from the reasonable prices, delicious nachos, and wonderful service, the staff is what will keep us coming back, again and again. Thank you, Elias!

One final note: We estimate our total bar tabs to be over $750 for 20 people. Sorry, Sweet &...

Pinks used to be an amazing, fun, affordable, cozy little spot, I would go there all the time and I brought a fair amount of people with me. Unfortunately, things have changed drastically in the past few months. The quality of their food is not that good anymore, they put no care in what they do, everything is rushed, the meats are tough, underseasoned, it taste like a slightly higher version of Taco Bell. The service is simply horrendous. They have new waiters who are clearly too busy checking their phone to take care of customers, my friends and I had dirty "baskets" of food in front of our faces for half an hour 'cause they would walk by our table and completely ignore us. I ordered a taco that I saw sitting on the kitchen window for 15 minutes because nobody cared to bring it over. We were being given attitude all evening until the staff realized other friends came over and we were going to spend real money there. They have a karaoke "dj" who treats people poorly, he's arrogant, dismissive and offensive, plus those evenings are clearly meant to offer a stage to their selected crew of primadonnas. On top of that, they had their Instagram account hacked for months, they didn't use their other accounts to let people know about it, some of their followers got hacked through it as well and they never took responsibility for it, nor cared too much, they simply acted like nothing happened. Very, very...

First, the restaurant wasn’t even in that busy when i walked in there were only 2 people at the bar. The entire time i was in there only 3 others came in. I will not be going back to this place - the host wasn’t paying attention to the door - the food wasn’t that good - guac wasn’t fresh - for this place to only have tacos, quesadillas, and burritos for main dishes they really need to up there game. The server was slow - the server didn’t even bring the food out someone else did - i had to wait 20min for a refill on my drink - the server handled the straw without the wrapper on it and then put it in the drink. Then to top it off her manager really had the audacity to question the tip 🤔 she didn’t bring the food out she handled my straw with her hands she was slow i had to wait 20min for a refill on my drink she really wasn’t paying attention

The restaurant wasn’t that busy so sorry but I’m not...

A wonderfully understated little “hole in the wall” bar, Mexican eatery and live music venue tucked away on a residential side street of the boisterous and East Village of NYC. The staff is friendly, the food above par (and not at all expensive). It’s not the kind of establishment I would expect from the east village of my youth but in many ways this is a welcome improvement. Tempus fugit, get out of the way! Great spot for a plate of Nachos, a couple of beers and a shot or two of tequila shared with friends.

Threw my boyfriend’s birthday at Pink’s with over 35 guests on a Saturday night and we could not be happier! The open bar and food packages were perfect. The event managers (shoutout to Kat and Erin) were SO accommodating, caring, and detail oriented. The bar staff, led by the amazing Ernest and Jeff, were quick to make drinks and super organized. This is the best bar I have ever had the pleasure of working with for an event. Truly cannot recommend them enough!
