New York Eats | 🔥 The Ultimate Giant Italian Sandwich with MAX Damage Power

This place is legit! Like “from Italy with love” legit! This sandwich shop is exactly what I’d expect of an amazing, traditional New York Italian sandwich shop - no frills, Italian pride, and good quality ingredients. Plenty of bread, meat and cheese options. Good quality meats and cheeses and fresh bread made by a Brooklyn establishment that’s been around 30+ years. The amount of meat and cheese they put on their sandwiches is crazy! They load it up - I couldn’t even finish my sandwich, and I eat a lot! The guys working at the shop were extremely nice and friendly to everyone that entered. I got several smiles while eating my sandwich! While I was eating my delicious sandwich, a girl who works a couple shops over came in just to order a bottle of water and they just gave it to her and told her to cover it next time (because she didn’t have any cash). That’s true customer service and just good ol’ hospitality. This place is worth a visit! I’ll definitely be returning, to support a local, small business, and also to try another one of their amazing sandwiches.

I heard about this sandwich spot from a Italian Vespa mechanic in Queens so it had a level of credibility about it even before I showed up. The first thing you notice is that it is a small place but the music is mighty. I felt like I walked into a nightclub, but in a good way. Like in Naples you have to move fast because that’s how things are done. First choose your bread, if you didn’t choose your sandwich already take a big step back and figure it out. No clue because all 35 of them look great? No problem do what I did. Ask the guy if you should get this one or that one. Done. We got the Verona and the Genoa. Both were huge! They weighed 2lbs each. No really I weighed them. I think the rock star move here is to order 3 or 4 sandwiches for 5-7 people and have them slice each sandwich into four sections. Size and weight aside both were amazing. The bread is great the deli is great and the flavor combinations felt so authentic. Only thing missing is a post lunch dip in the Adriatic.

I wasn’t sure how I felt at first, but after a few bites in, I fell in love. This is not your classic fanfare American sandwich. These are high-quality Italian ingredients with an incredibly fresh and robust flavor with each ingredient that is used and the massive bread is baked and delivered fresh daily. They have a pretty wild selection of options on their menu and the portion is incredibly massive. I was only able to finish half my sandwich and left the other half for the next day. And to my surprise, it tasted even better the next day as the ingredients soaked each other’s flavors and mash together

This place is wholesome with high-quality fresh tasting sandwiches. If you’re looking for stereotypical American fanfare sandwich this is not it.

Lastly: These are not HOT pressed Panini’s like you would normally expect here in the United States. These are Italian...
