Discrimination Against Customers! Manager Blacklisted Me for Using the Official App
This Popeyes location has shown the most outrageous and unacceptable behavior I’ve ever experienced. I have always been a loyal customer, and I regularly place my orders through the official Popeyes app, using the legitimate promotions and discounts provided by the company. I have never violated any rules.
I know that in certain locations, such as highway rest stops, app discounts are not valid. However, according to Popeyes’ official website, this store is a participating location. In fact, I had previously placed successful orders here through the app and used these discounts without issue.
Now, not only am I unable to use the discounts at this store, but I am completely blocked from placing any orders at all through my account. To confirm, I even tested with my coworker’s Popeyes app—their order and discount went through successfully at this exact same location. This proves beyond any doubt that the manager specifically put my account on a blacklist, simply because I frequently used the official promotions.
This is blatant discrimination against a customer and a violation of consumer rights. Instead of respecting the brand’s promotions, this store prioritized its own profits and punished a loyal customer for following the rules.
⚠️ I am extremely angry and disappointed. I will be filing a formal complaint with Popeyes Corporate and demanding a full investigation. Customers should never be treated this way. I strongly urge others to beware of this location—it disrespects and discriminates against its own...
Read moreI would definitely not recommend this location to anyone on the planet, even with the new renovations. Inside, it screams dull and lacks energy, reminiscent of Popeyes. All the workers there are beyond not helpful but also very dismissive with their attitudes, as if the customers are the ones who make them feel this way. Given my experience here, I would like to discuss the food, which is usually stale and old. You can order a side, and it would have been made hours before you receive it. Also, the chicken does not taste like Popeyes chicken; it's very dry, not moist, hard, and often cold, not warm. I had a horrible experience with a lady employee who seemed very sensitive and enraged with anger, making mistakes on my order and scolding me when I tried to correct her. This location either needs to close down or have a whole new management and team. It seems like it's just a location that's open to cater to the neighborhood, but like all the main fast food joints in this neighborhood, it gets closed down after...
Read moreNothing really separates this Popeye's from any other really. The chicken was hot and ready for me on Super Bowl gameday 2013. My friends were happy with my "bucket of chicken" contribution to the pot luck. The bucket travels well and the chicken didn't get too cold even 20-minutes later on a blisteringly cold February evening. I mean, decent fried chicken by a non-chain store isn't easy to come by in NYC. Correct me if i'm wrong but in NYC we get 2 choices - it's either KFC or Popeye's really. I know there are a few random spots in Brooklyn but they don't do it for me really. Just a novelty. It's a toss up between Popeye's crisp skin and KFC's blend of 7 herbs and spices. Damn, i'm getting hungry now...
The staff behind the glass window at the counter was having a good old time laughing and gossiping about something or other. I dunno, inhaling all that fried chicken vapor probably makes you high...and After that, it's probably another good time to eat...
