Poppy’s was absolutely amazing!!! from the ambience to the staff to the food. Leonora, the owner, was so friendly and welcoming, and our server Caroline was incredibly sweet. They both made us feel so well taken care of.

We also happened to arrive at the perfect time for the live jazz band, which added such a fun and lively atmosphere. The music was incredible and really elevated the whole experience.

The mimosa flights were a highlight, with the pear being my favorite. The food was just as impressive. The chimichurri steak was cooked perfectly and bursting with flavor. The avocado toast was spot-on, and the thick, fluffy eggs were delicious. To finish, the Dutch pancakes were the perfect sweet ending to the meal.

I came here on a hinge date and left in a committed relationship—with the Sizzling Grilled Shrimp.

It’s giving mood lighting, sultry cocktails, and just enough ambient music to feel like you’re in a rom-com but not enough to drown out your date’s embarrassing stories.

Now let’s talk about this shrimp. That shrimp didn’t just slap—it gave a TED Talk, paid my taxes, and emotionally supported me through my seasonal depression. Perfectly cooked, seasoned like it grew up in a spice-forward household, and plated like it’s auditioning for MasterChef. I considered proposing.

Stopped by this newly opened gem last night for what I didn’t realize was their opening night. Everything was going perfectly so I was really surprised when I found out it was their first night! One side is a sexy, dimly lit bar that has live jazz music. Which they said will be a pretty regular thing! The other side is a cool lounge area with tables and comfy seating. Drinks and food were delicious. Would highly recommend for a date night or just a night out with friends who enjoy a sophisticated yet surpassingly affordable bar/lounge.
