This place is awesome! They don't take reservations so we walked in on a Saturday at around 6pm and the place was about 1/4 full. My party of 2 was able to be seated right away.
The place is dark and cozy without feeling too crowded. The large wine selection was on great display. I really liked the vibe!
They have HH from 5-7 from Tuesday through Sunday I believe. The HH deals are pretty decent! They had a special wine that was $7/glass. I really liked it actually! We also got the wings from the HH menu in the soy garlic flavor and they were great. We got the corn cheese as well which was good but nothing spectacular.
We also wanted to get a glass of wine and couldn't choose between 2 and they were very kind enough to let us taste both of them.
We got the kimchi fried rice and the soft tofu soup. Both were really REALLY good. I'm Korean and was impressed by the soup.
The owner and wait staff were all so friendly and kind to us.
I would definitely recommend this place and can't wait...
Read moreThis is a little gem to discover near you, not only a great wine French organic list but skillfully - prepared Korean/Brazilian food. I love GOMI for casual, chic drinking, or just to hang out after work. Rafael the owner and the intellectual mind behind this idea, is a really smart and a wine connoisseur, he always chooses something for me which is handy because the wine selection is so well thought out that I never know what to order. I highly recommend cold red wine perfect for summer season! you can pair it with a plate of local hand- made cheese, ask for "Crema de Blue". You must try the skirt steak wrap, one of my favorites. This is a perfect venue for your small private gatherings, there is big table that can sit 12 people, I love this idea because you can socialize and share wine & food, and have conversations, but also there are "couples tables" for your most intimate dialogue. I can't wait for my upcoming brunch family & friends...
Read moreStopped by on a Saturday noon for brunch. Love the vibe and brunch price. The deco and owner made my Saturday awesome. We ordered spicy pork belly and bulgogi, they were a bit too salty and the veggies came with the dishes had a bit too much black pepper. But I will be back again! Guess why? The portion is really good for the asking price, and the veggies are finely chopped and mixed with different vegetables. What other restaurants would do at this price range are 2 piece of cauliflower, or just some onion. Appreciate the cast iron and utensils. All together just show how the owner put his love and efforts. So, yes, I will be back. But still hope the food could be less salty. I will pack the food home and mix with more rice or noodle if that happens...
