**Rating All The Breakfast Burritos in OC** I’ve tried 19 breakfast burritos in OC so far, all taken from suggestions you guys give me. The South County folks have really been coming for me lately so I went to Rose Cafe in Lake Forest: 20672 Lake Forest Dr suite b, Lake Forest, CA 92630 First, here are the rankings of what I have tried: Nick’s in Seal Beach - 9.75 LJ’s Cafe in Cypress - 9.5 That Epic Burrito Shack in Huntington Beach - 8.6 Pepe’s in Fullerton - 8.3 Troy’s in Orange - 8.2 Nate’s Korner in Santa Ana - 8.1 Ham ‘N Scram in Westminster - 8.0 The Trough in Irvine, Anaheim, and RSM - 7.8 George’s in Fullerton - 7.8 Palm Market Deli in Orange - 7.5 Rose Cafe in Lake Forest - 7.5 Lupes - Dana Point/Aliso Viejo/HB - 7.4 Surfin Donuts in Mission Viejo - 7.3 Paul’s Place in Orange - 7 Teddy’s Deli - 6.8 Cali Tacos in Orange - 6.8 Hola Adios in Costa Mesa - 6.5 Athenian #3 in Buena Park - 6 John’s Place in Orange - 5.3 I rate the burritos for their overall tastiness, price, size, how well ingredients are mixed, salsa, anything else that really stands out. I always get the burrito closet to “standard breakfast burrito” that I can find. This burrito is actually
beautiful. The way it’s arranged is almost artistic looking, with the egg blanket and then the sausage patty surrounded by hashbrowns. Salsa is solid house made pico. Overall it’s really good and falls in the middle of the pack, if you’re in the area it’s worth a try. Customer service was fantastic. This was the supreme burrito and it was around $14 before tax and tip. I have many more on the list, like Glee, Victory Diner, etc. If you DM me, the DM’s get lost, so commenting is the best way for me to go back and reference what I should try next. Tell me what burrito I should try below. . . . #breakfast #breakfastburrito #southcounty #orangecounty #wheretogo #burritos #food #ocfood #breakfast #thingstodo

I decided to leave a review even though I wasn’t, but Id thought it is important for other customers to know and perhaps the owner of the restaurant will see this, I went with a friend and I ordered a chicken quesadilla yuca fries, and she got a chicken Fajita, as my friend was eating her food she was chewing/found a finger nail in her plate!!! We immediately called our female waitress and later on asked for the manager who was also a female, the manager who I did not get her name seemed like she did not care she was literally laughing and said it never happened before. After that, this guy with glasses who works there came to our table and dropped of two shots of tequila and we were confused because me and my friend never asked for them nor did the guy even knew what was happening all he said was “idk it came from the bar” they probably thought we were just some young girls who would be fine after what just happened and brushed it off by offering us shots. Honestly I was so disappointed of customer service it was so bad. Also our female waitress who is short and with black hair she wasn’t helpful with me, when I asked her can I change my drink because I did not like it and it was too spicy she said I could not change it and would have to charge me if I decided to get another drink, mind you I only took one sip. I work in the restaurant industry as well and we never have a problem switching the drink if the customer does not like it as long as the beverage was not empty. It may not look like your upscale Mexican restaurant you find in Union Square or SoHo, but the service and food are just as good here, if not better (and more reasonably priced). El Camion’s dark decor gives a more dive bar vibe and they do in fact serve up a strong margarita, but I’m here to eat. We ordered the chips and guacamole, steak fajitas, yucca fries, and braised pork shoulder. Chips and guacamole easily fall short at some spots, but there’s just enough salt and lime juice in the guac that balances this one. The chips weren’t too salty and they offered enough chips (we all know that’s always an issue). The steak fajitas, sautĂ©ed with peppers and onions and served with 4 warm flour tortillas, also came with yellow rice and black beans. I highly recommend this dish. The steak was well seasoned, cooked medium rare, and was juicy and tender. The braised pork shoulder had a tomato based sauce (not what I expected), but was delicious. The meat easily fell apart and was very tender. The yucca fries were great. Crispy and included a side of guacamole and salad. If you’re looking for a solid Mexican spot with more than just tacos, go here.

Living in the lower east for 20 years my First time experiencing what I experience in this restaurant , I came to this place a lot of times with friends , today I came in with my brother and mother and didn't like the service we wasn't greeted politely there was a server woman by the bar and look at us strange , she gave us water and you can tell she didn't want to serve us , we was rushed by a male server because he kept asking us what else we want , he didn't let us finish the drinks we had already on the table , meanwhile there was people behind us that was there before us and wasn't being rushed out he came to us with the bill without us asking and we wasn't finish with our drink , I'm really disappointed with the servers, I would not return with my family nor friends and I will make sure I tell them about my experience . I definitely know it was a race thing which is very sad , my friend knows the owner therefore I hope he sees this messenge and can train better...
