La Pizza Italia: A Culinary Haven for Fried Chicken and Pizza Lovers Tucked away in the heart of the Alphabet City, this fried chicken and pizza joint is nothing short of a revelation. A rare gem that elevates comfort food into an art form, it delivers a dining experience that is both indulgent and unforgettable. From the moment you step inside, the aroma of sizzling, golden-brown chicken and bubbling cheese welcomes you like an old friend. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively, making it an ideal spot for everything from a casual night out to a celebratory feast. The fried chicken is, in a word, sublime. Each piece is encased in a perfectly crisp, golden crust that shatters with every bite, revealing tender, juicy meat that has been brined and seasoned to perfection. The balance of crunch and succulence is remarkable, and every bite is an explosion of flavor. The house-made sauces elevate the experience even further—whether it's a tangy, smoky barbecue or a fiery hot honey glaze, each dip is a revelation. And then, there’s the pizza. The dough is masterfully crafted, achieving that elusive harmony between crisp and chewy, with just the right amount of char. The tomato sauce is rich and vibrant, the cheese melts into a decadent stretch, and the toppings—be they classic pepperoni, wild mushroom and truffle, or a daring combination of spicy soppressata and honey—are always fresh and thoughtfully paired. Service is impeccable, with a staff that is both passionate and knowledgeable. They offer recommendations with genuine enthusiasm, ensuring that each guest finds the perfect pairing of fried chicken and pizza, a combination that somehow feels both sinful and absolutely necessary. Simply put, this restaurant redefines what fast, casual comfort food can be. Whether you’re a fried chicken purist, a pizza connoisseur, or just someone who loves great food done right, La Pizza Italia is a place that demands a visit. And once you go, you’ll find yourself counting down the days until your next indulgence.

Rarely do I give 5 stars unless it’s deserved. This place deserves an award! For the price, I wasn’t expecting anything extraordinary, I was happily mistaken. I ordered the 2 piece chicken with fries. The service was quick and the food was fresh. I haven’t had such great quality chicken in a long time- the breading was crunchy and the fries were hot and seasoned. A tad bit in the salty side with the chicken breading; otherwise, this is everything you’d want in a fried chicken meal. I never have high hopes for chicken sitting in a warmer but don’t let that fool you, the chicken is juicy and super fresh. The interior is clean and the service is friendly. I was surprised at how much meat was in the drums stick and chicken thigh. Superior to KFC and Popeyes for sure, this is officially one my new favorite spots for fried chicken.

the pizza? okay at best which is sorta a sin in NYC. yes, the pizza is thin crust and has a layer of melty mooozarella. flavor is kinda nonexistent as the sauce imparted nothing to the slice that i had other than color. the crust was pretty floppy (too much flop)—not much crispness/crunch to it as the pizza was a bit too soft. thankfully the crust was not doughy and thick. the pizzeria is pretty clean, well-maintained, and had several tables. the staff were friendly enough. won’t be back here for the pizza BUT the fried chicken actually looked really good!

I never bought food here before but this place looks cute, clean and pretty with it's bright lights that look brighter than other food places around where this place is, I think alot people do not buy in this place because is not that old in the buisness and because there alot of other fast food places to go to and I think they are not going to go and buy or eat in 2 different places where around the neighborhood this place is there is even and icy or ice cream place I think called "Ralph" alot of bars like if you want food or alcohol even with music playing, Mexican restaurants and other restaurants from other latin countries and more other different places, also this place is probably reminding alot of people when seeing this place out there, alot of people probably remember seeing this restaurant because of another restaurant located at 137 and 1st ave called "Crispy Buger" that looks similar but not exactly the same, where you go in it looks kind of the same as the "Italia Pizza" restaurant where they also sell...
