Been wanting to try this highly rated Banh Mi shop and finally had a chance to pick up a Mr. Banh Mi and a Vietnamese iced coffee to go. Gentleman handling our order was polite and friendly. Glad to see it’s a small locally owned family business. The banh mi was fresh and well prepared overall. The bread is made in house from my understanding which is impressive. In terms of texture and taste of the bread it’s about average and I’ve had better at a couple of other Brooklyn Banh Mi spots. The veggies are finely shredded which is different than other spots however I did find it lacking a bit of zest. The minced BBQ pork filling is a take from the OG Banh Mi spot that’s been around 40 years in Chinatown. Speaking about filling/cold cuts - it’s your usual except banh mi filling just a tad less amount wise compared to others. The traditional mayo and pate was definitely on the light side or lacking. On to the iced Vietnamese coffee pretty decent taste as some decent spots. Overall I give them kudos for baking their own bread and for prep/presentation but price is a factor comparing other banh mi spots in Asian areas as $13 for a banh mi in Bensonhurst vs $8 to $9.50 in Bensonhurst/Sunset Park/Bay Ridge is a tough bite to digest unless possibly yours is significantly better/bigger than the others. But I still wish their shop to prosper.

Been hearing great things about Mr Banh Mi & since they’ve just opened up on Uber eats, I decided to give it a go. Let me tell you- the food did not disappoint. I got the rocket rolls, spring rolls, crack wings & mr banh mi!! I was so shocked that the rocket rolls and spring rolls were still SO CRISPY AND CRUNCHY after Uber eats took their sweet time to get to me!! I got mild wings- which were juicy & and the meat just fell right off the bone. The mr banh mi was also HEAVENLY. Lemme tell you I ordered the rolls again the weekend afterward & im still shocked at how crispy and yummy they are delivered. I was craving a banh mi today, but I was so sad to see they’re closed on Wednesdays 😭 Obviously, I will order again :)

The small restaurant is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. They prepare Vietnamese cuisine. I ordered the spring rolls and quail eggs as appetizers. The quail eggs were small hardboiled eggs wrapped up like a fried wonton. Very different and unique. The Mr. Banh Mi sandwich was on a baguette and filled with ham, pork and salad. The chicken platter with white rice included salad. The pork platter with vermicelli noodles included salad. The portions are generous amounts. The restaurant has several tables for dining in. Friendly and helpful staff.

Blown away! Relatively new to the neighborhood and was looking for a quick, local, grab-and-go lunch spot. This place did not disappoint. The Banh Mis were so delicious. Would definitely recommend their signature Mr. Banh Mi sandwich. Everything was so juicy and flavorful. We also ordered the spring rolls and bulgogi fries which were exceptional. The spring rolls took me by surprise as they were well balanced with the filling. I haven’t had spring rolls that good in such a long time especially since the Banh Mis are the staple of this restaurant. Will definitely be...
