I’m giving this a low rating not because of the food quality but because of the service. I called to order ahead of time and the lady on the phone was pretty rude (kind of like she didn’t want to be working on a Sunday). I gave it the benefit of the doubt and maybe she was just busy. I usually ask for the total so I can know ahead of time. But when I got there to pay she told me the total again which was the same as what she said on the phone but when I paid I got charged a different price. I do understand that paying card/Apple Pay there’s tax but assuming my total was already tax included & since she didn’t mention anything about it being more because she needed to add tax. I wouldn’t have minded if she told me but because she had the time to ask if I wanted a receipt I wouldn’t liked if she told me about the price change. I then asked the lady who gave me my order why I was charged more she was like let me print out your receipt and then she asked if I paid card or cash I said card and she was like oh that’s why. I told her I wish she would’ve told me. I wouldn’t have been so upset if they would had at least...
Read moreIt's a very nice place that has a large selection of snacks and bubble tea drinks to choose from. The creative/referential names they have for their drinks such as "The Hulk" and "First Love" is also a nice touch. Of course, the drink menu will have the actual name of the flavors written next to the names. Aside from the bubble tea and snacks, they also offer a good variety of rice balls, or onigiri, including the popular "Spicy Crawfish" and "Shrimp Tempura." They also include appetizers like "Fried Takoyaki," which are essentially octopus dough balls. In addition, the place also offers a selection of milk teas and freshly brewed teas. These items are available to purchase at the store or online. Overall, Yaya Tea has a surprisingly amazing selection of snacks,...
Read moreI love this place and remember when it first opened up. There aren't other boba tea places that are as unique as this one. The menu and products you can buy have a good variety. I love the onigiri and you can't really find any other place nearby that sells them.
Unlike many boba tea places, you can actually create your own drink and pick from the many named drinks. I've had blue blood, the hulk, sunrise, period pad, green panda, black wido, her, and more!
One thing that has changed (specifically after covid) is they took away more seats and they also took off the shelf that had amazing merch and imported snacks. I wish that was back and now it looks more like a takeout store but it's...
