Today I ordered a chicken parm sandwich. A few minutes after purchasing I was told that there was no more chicken parm and that it would have to be cooked. Having seen so many positive reviews before deciding to try Previti I didn't have a problem waiting as it seemed it would be worth the wait and I don't mind waiting for good food. When I finally got my sandwich after ~25 minutes I was disappointed in the mushy sandwich I had received. The breading simply slipped off all the chicken and the bread was already mushy. There was no mozzarella on the sandwich and very little chicken. Most of sandwich was merely soggy breading between two pieces of soggy roll. Sauce is very sweet (which is not my preference but I thought that was fine, merely stating for future customers to be aware of). Maybe the pizza would have been a better option but the sandwich definitely wasn't worth the $9 I...
Read moreI've worked a block away from Previti Pizza for two years and have been going for lunch once a week. Their pizza is fantastic for the price, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the speed of service is relatively quick for how busy they get (especially during the lunch rush). I've only recently tried their sandwiches and was very pleasantly surprised. The roast beef sandwich was to die for! I've had nearly all of the "flavors" of pizza, with Grandma's slice being my favorite. Previti knows how to make a mean tomato sauce; not too sweet, not too acidy, but rich and flavorful. Their garlic knots, as mentioned in another review are not the best in the city, but still hold their own against some of the better garlic knots I've had. The seating is limited, as with many pizzerias in Midtown. If you're looking to treat yourself to some great pizza, this is the...
Read moreWhen it comes to pizza, you don't expect "creamy" and "rich" to be the adjectives that pop into your mind over a $3.50 slice. Nevertheless, their Artichoke Truffle slice did just that. Even their garlic knots, while not the greatest in the city, are delicious, representing a certain standard of quality that Previti strives for.
In an area of the city dominated by competing 99 cent pizzerias, Previti Pizza is a completel shift in quality and experience. The slices, which come in regular and focaccia slices, almost all felt unique, and the prices are definitely reasonable. Even their menu, square, designed to look like a pizza box, is a clever touch that helps make Previti a stand out, well above the rest. My new favorite.
