Purgatory — Restaurant in New York

Great, small bar at the very end of Central Ave. I have gone there for several concerts and have always had a good time. The bar is small and features several small separate sections and outdoor seating. The bar had frozen and un-frozen drink specials and a good selection of beers. The performance space is upstairs and very cozy. Great place to see new music. There is a bathroom upstairs as well as downstairs so you don't have to leave the show floor. There are CitiBike stands fairly close so you can ride there or take the L, which leaves you maybe 3...

This is such a fun inclusive live music venue. Tucked away at the end of a Bushwick street the place has a fun vibe and decor. Enjoy a chat with friends on one of the comfy couches tucked away in an alcove downstairs or enjoy performances on the upstairs stage. The staff is amazing and helpful. When I give 5* to the food I actually mean the cocktails. On the current menu I recommend Holy Water. There is also a solid selection of none...
