Great drinks. Great music. Great service. But the food is gross (microwaved soggy fries etc ), and the bathroom is rank and always has piss splatter on the floor. As a woman it’s a no go. Which sucks because drinking makes me need the bathroom every 5 minutes. If they would get a better menu (nothing fancy just maybe get a toaster oven instead?) and clean the bathroom more often this would easily be my go to spot.

My favorite local Bushwick bar! Used to frequent it daily when I lived in Bushwick. Now I go whenever I visit Brooklyn. Great bartenders, fantastic owners, beautiful atmosphere!

This the kind of place I am hesitant to share JUST how good it is. I hope it doesn't get too crowded. That arcade machine is šŸ„µšŸ”„ a whole arcade in 1 machine

This is a neighborhood bar, most people who come here live in the area, i moved to this part of bushwick less than a year ago and have become a regular as the next closest bar is a further down broadway. I walk with my dog and pass the bar frequently and was invited in by someone who is now my friend and so are our doggos who frequently hang out with us and together at the bar. The bar’s patrons are friendly and inviting and the owner is lenient and is tolerant of a dog or two joining the party. My only complaint is that of the bartender named Zaidy, I feel that he’s had something against me from the start always donning a fake smile, he has forgotten to serve me wwdrinks that Ive ordered on busy nights but hadnt forgotten anyone else, his apology was insincere, his facial expressions don’t match what he says. Anyway he saw another patron I was with use something illegal at the back table, later that night he tells me that I am not welcome here on the nights he works and if I keep prying into reasons why then it will be worse, I asked my buddy who I was with who was the one who perpetrated the act and he told me Zaidy had banned us those nights because of that but gave my buddy a second chance because they knew eachother longer, but Im still banned even though I wasnt partaking. Unfair and biased, he’s going to deal with it, I don’t plan going there on any particular day but if I do end up there on a night he’s working and he starts something, he will have to cause a scene, because he cannot justify the ban and considering he gave the actual perpetrator a second chance well he’s going to have to figure out how to get rid if me legally. I won’t put up with being made to feel like the bad guy...

The evergreen bar is the best. I am in the process of moving out of the neighborhood right now after living here for a year, and I can definitely say that I will miss the evergreen. I'll surely come back for visits. I was treated like family at the evergreen and made lots of friends. it has a great atmosphere and great bartenders. They hired one bartender who is a bit mean spiritied and unpleasant, but otherwise they are all absolutely great. They treat you amazingly and are super friendly. The night that I told them I was moving out of the neighborhood I swear I felt gunuine appreciation from staff for having been a loyal fan....

My brother, do you remember me because I loved meeting y'all and visiting your bar. Remember, my names Mark from Nashville. Funny thing is I visited NYC by myself before I went back to work, saw smokey Robinson etc and caught subway everywhere staying at a b and b in Rockaway. Then om the way home I said, nope, I want another drink. I got off and googled nearest bar from subway stop and it had me walking down Bushwick which I swear to you I played on my phone from Geto Boys while I walked down it to make me feel safer. Lol, I'll attach picture. Remember, ty for taking care of me...
