My experience wasn't the best at this restaurant and here's why. I made a reservation here for a family get together and we were all supposed to have dinner together. We had about 20 people but 2 extra came. There was not enough chairs for everyone at the table they set up, so I kindly asked the owner for a few extra. She was very upset and started to yell at me. She told me they don't have any extra chairs and it isn't her problem but mine because we have 2 extra people. The only solution she thought of was to seperate us. Half of my family had to sit all the way across the restaurant. After, we were waiting on our food for 2 hours. A few family members were frustrated because it was taking so long and left. The kids were also starting to get annoyed so they asked our waiter when it will be served, he said soon. It got to the point I was so upset, so I asked the owner about our food. She said we never ordered anything... 10 minutes later AFTER 2 HOURS OF WAITING! our food magicaly was served. Keep in mind, the other half of my family that had to sit across the restaurant, ordered their food at the same time as us and received it much faster than where I sat. Additionally, this restaurant is heavily under staffed. They had a total of 3 waiters and one of them was the owner. They don't have extra chairs and they don't have extra waiters. That day the restaurant was filled with people, reservations back to back. I would like to shout out one of the waiters though, Benny F. He was awesome. I felt bad for him though because of how unorganized the restaurant was. He understood the problems we had and tried his best to help. He was also great with the kids. When the kids started to get upset because the food was taking so long, he was really kind to them unlike the owner. I was also upset with the bartender, one of my family members had a few beers. The bartender was upset for no reason and said he was drinking and ordering more too fast. We were all there just to have a good time. After the bartender said that, my family member told him it's none of his business how much he drinks. The bartender is here for him and his job is to serve him. The bartender replied and said it's his business, overall he was nasty just like the owner. In addition, the restaurant knew they had alot of reservations that day. Some of the menu items were not available such as filet mignon. Me and all of my family members are not recomending this place to anyone, there are many other restaurants around the area, I'm sure their owners...
Read moreI was kindly greeted by the bartender/waiter. He was very kind and helpful. I ordered chicken strips and fries for the child I was babysitting and chicken wings and cheese fries for myself. The child’s meal was great, but I didn’t like mine. The meat tasted as if it was in the freezer, reheated then doused in bbq sauce, the fries were soggy and topped with many unnecessary ingredients. I told the waiter I didn’t like my meal, he tried to convince me that the meal was good. I asked for a manager, a tall white older woman with grayish/blonde she came over and asked me what was wrong with the meal. I explained to her that I didn’t like the meat, it didn’t taste fresh and I didn’t enjoy the fries either ( I had only eaten on piece of each). She told me that no one complains about the food, she makes and sells it all the time. I explained to her that I’m a customer and everyone has different taste buds and that particular plate didn’t favor mine. She told me that my reasoning wasn’t good enough and she didn’t like my attitude. I told her I wasn’t going to pay for something I didn’t like or eat, she then ordered me pay for the food that was eaten and leave the establishment.
As I awaited the check from the bartender, the manager came back to my table, and starting speaking to the 3 year old child accompanying me, telling her to not be like me, to not scam restaurants. I quickly told her to not speak to the child, she said replied that she heard me say something to the child and that I should teach her right.
She then told me that although I don’t think I was, that I am lower than low.
I was treated like a seconds class citizen, offered the worst customer experience as well as being insulted and humiliated. I was talked down on in-front on the child I was babysitting, even the toddler was addressed by the rude manager. I don’t suggest that anyone of color invest their time or money into that business. The racist manager even attempted to belittle my character. She’s clearly not fit to run a restaurant or communicate with customer. I had an extremely disappointing experience and will never spend my money at this...
Read moreThis is by far the worst restaurant I’ve ever been too, DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE DECOR. It was my girlfriends birthday and we wanted to go to a churrascaria, normally I would go to Rainahs on northern blvd queens but she wanted to try something new and we landed here. So we ordered the “Rodizio”. We waited for about 15 minutes and they brought us the salad first, not a problem. Until we finished the first corse and waited for about another 45 minutes wondering where our food was. 30 minutes into waiting I noticed that there was some meats being kept warm on some kind of commercial rotisserie grill. So I think to myself, if that’s that meat that we’re getting for the Rodizio then we’re waiting 45 minutes for rice beans and mashed potatoes? This should been a red flag for me to get up and leave but I wasn’t exactly sure but. Yes I was right. Soon after they brought us the sides we were brought the first selection of meats, a chicken leg. Though it had no flavor it was probably the freshest of all the meats were brought. Next was the chorizo, the meat was so dry that it would break apart like dry bread. Good luck eating that. Then the steak. Dried and had no flavor. Lastly I had the lamb, dried as well and the flavor almost made my girlfriend throw up. She could not swallow the meat. So there is when I threw in the towel and tried to get out of there as fast as I can. On my plate you can see every single piece of meat that I was served and none was eaten. Some servers would prob ask how everything was or if there is a problem but no. Our servers barley spoke English so communication was tough. I’d rather lose $100 than to give it away to a restaurant that will serve you reheated food. The fact that they will not even respond to any reviews shows that they had no type of customer services that is even a tiny bit interested in your satisfaction. I wanted to take my girlfriend out to a nice restaurant for her birthday but this was a bust. Please stay away from this place. It doesn’t deserve your money. Fast food restaurants even...
