Ready Penny Inn — Restaurant in New York

Was in there a couple of minutes ago, the whole neighborhood has this election watch party going on, and i jokingly mentioned Donald Trump and the bartender for the evening goes berserk “ there’s absolutely no politics talk going on tonight” “ i will not accept it and if you want you can leave” and all i said was i am voting for the color of my shirt which is red. Im drinking and cognisant but this woman bartender for the evening i dont know if she has personal issues going on but that bad attitude and manners during an election night when I go there and spend $200 + dollars no thanks.

I went to this bar this evening because I figured since it’s really near to where I live should have a couple of drinks before I go home. The bartender was a female she didn’t even say hi to me and let me and my friend wait for her to come and serve us. Ok given it is. Neighborhood bar. I didn’t really feel welcome because she totally ignored me. My friend said let’s just go to a different bar.

It’s sad for me because I live at the birchwood and o can’t even go to the bar that is near me. It’s not worth it to come here. The bartenders don’t serve people they don’t know.

Oh man is this place a dive bar. I say that with the best of intentions. I love a dive bar. Nothing much too look at but damn if you dont feel the personality as soon as you walk through the door. Helen was our bartender and she has mastered the lost art of bartending. Not just slinging drinks and looking cool but bartending. She made us feel at home pretty quickly and was quite entertaining without hovering. Ill be stopping by EVERYTIME I am in Queens...
