I recently visited Rosetta Bakery on 1928 Broadway, and I must say, it was a delightful experience overall! As an Italian bakery, they certainly have a variety of delicious treats that showcase their culinary heritage. I couldn't resist trying a few items, and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors and quality of their offerings.

The pastries were absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and authentic Italian recipes that truly shine. I particularly enjoyed the array of baked goods, which were a treat for both the eyes and the palate. The outdoor seating across from Lincoln Center provided a lovely ambiance, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy my treats while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

However, I did encounter a couple of bumps during my visit. The staff seemed a bit put off by my taking photos, which was unexpected. While I understand that some people might not appreciate the distraction, it’s always nice when service staff can maintain a welcoming demeanor, especially in such a bustling environment.

Additionally, I found it a bit perplexing that a bakery that serves sandwiches didn’t carry mustard. It seems like a staple condiment that would complement their offerings well. Nonetheless, the food was so good that I would definitely consider returning despite these minor annoyances.

The prices, reflective of the touristy area, were a bit higher than I would typically expect, but the quality of the food and the enjoyable outdoor seating made it worth it. Overall, Rosetta Bakery is a charming spot with delicious Italian baked goods, and I look forward to returning for another taste of...

Service, pastry, and coffee are always great. I would be 5 stars if not my recent encounter (6/23/25) with the a supervisor "Ash". There was a line and a customer cut in front of people asking if she can get an iced coffee without waiting in line. I saw Ash pointing to the customer that there is a line (right move), but than either under pressure or out of the goodness of her heart she took an order (bad move). This led to other customer with "just coffee" seeing it and cutting as well. Ash served this other customer without a blink. I confronted Ash after it was my turn and her response was: First: "They just had coffee". I said "I just had tea" and still was on the line. And, being an often customer, I know for sure there is now "special" line for customers "just with coffee". After I said the above her next reply was "I didn't know their were cutting in", which was a l lie at least with the first customer she knew full well what was happening (see above). Summing up: No apology, no attempt to accept the facts, on a border of rude. I don't think Ash in her current state should be a supervisor or even serve clients. In my opinion she should be trained on politeness and client management, as well basics of ethics. I would want to see a reply from the management about the corrective action it has taken. Please don't BS me with "it was a...

This bakery is really cute; I love its design. I think the structure of the line could be better, though, I can't tell where it starts and ends, and it's a bit confusing. The service is alright, I can understand why the employees wouldn't be enthusiastic as it's a popular place in midtown. One thing I can't really grasp about this bakery, however, is that there isn't a sign for prices or names near any of the baked goods. Maybe I missed it, but I still think it's a bit strange. Anyway, I got this orange sandwich with prosciutto (I think) and arugula, with peach tea. The tea was not the greatest (not the stores fault) and a bit overpriced, but the thing that really threw me off was the saltiness of the sandwich. Prosciutto is already supposed to be salty, but for some reason, even MORE salt had been sprinkled onto the bread itself. I asked to heat it up, but it left the arugula soggy and the insides still cold. It's a shame, I really wanted to love it. If you're interested in visiting this bakery, I suggest not getting the sandwiches and instead maybe the pizza.
