Saba's Pizza — Restaurant in New York

I am a nanny of two kids on the Upper West Side. I have been going to this place for the past 3-4 years, previously with my former nanny kids and now with my current ones. Birthdays or any pizza treat day it has alys been this place for me and my other nanny friends with their nanny family and the parents of the kids because let’s be honest their pizza is yummy and kosher!

But that changes from today because of that one person in the counter who is alys taking orders. He is alys very arrogant and rude. Today was the limit..he got very mad because I ordered two slices of pizza for my kid and his friend. He got very mad and straight away told me to make the order in 20 minutes and also that even after 20 minutes they might still not have any pizza for my kids because and I quote “we are a very busy place..come back to pay and place your order in 20 minutes”. It’s like he didn’t want us to be there. The kids were soo hungry… tired and very excited to eat the pizza. While the man at the counter was soo happily serving everyone but us. Also this guy has alys been sooo rude alys just today he was way out of line. I hope he learns his lessons! It was just too mean. Anyhoo..never going there and none of my nanny friends will nor the families of these kids. I told my entire circle and...

I live around the corner from your UWS location. I keep trying, TRYING to give you my business. I was just in your store. Three people were working at the counter; one taking orders on the phone, one making pizzas and one boxing delivering pizzas. I waited and waited without anyone acknowledging me or asking if they could throw a couple of slices in the oven for me. After taking two orders on the phone, the man taking orders asked me if I knew what I wanted. I ordered and he yelled me order another guy. I made room for other people that came in and watched as their orders were taken and filled. After three groups received their orders who had come in after me, I walked to the counter and asked for an update on my order. The guy said he forgot. So he took my order and put them in the box and handed it to me. I asked him if he usually provided cold pizza or if that was just for me? He then heated them up, barely, and handed it to me. I should have just asked for my money back. But instead, I accepted your product and the couldn't-try-less service and...

If there was a 0 Star option I would choose it. We went to Saba’s pizza looking for a nice bite on a Saturday night. The pizza was decent but the service was absolutely terrible. We were very polite but the guy behind the counter treated us really badly, cursing and yelling at us for no reason and denied us service. We ended up getting pizza once he allowed others to order and we split the cost and pizza with them. We came back a month later and ordered ahead of time thinking we’d give it another try. Once we got to the counter (40 minutes later) the same guy told us 20 minutes more. We were promised on the phone that it would be ready once we got there. And only once we said that the guy said he would get it ready in 10 minutes. There were people who were ordering there on the spot and he was telling them 20 minutes; it didn’t make any sense that we should wait longer. But we did and he ended up giving us someone else’s pizza. I liked the pizza but honestly after this really bad service 2x we’re not coming back. The wait and bad service just...
