Shake Shack Queens Center Mall — Restaurant in New York

My experience in shake shack was the most dangerous situation I saw happening in a restaurant as per food safety. I walked in to the location in 90-15 queens Blvd in queens NY with my wife as per the store layout right in the front table very visible not where this restaurant can say oh my how did we miss it they must have sneaked it in and we did not see three girls openly having two dogs one one the food table and one on the floor. I did not say much but asked if shake shack were aware of the situation where no dogs in food restaurant allowed. as a manager in target and Duane reade pharmacy in New York City I know you CAN NOT bring animals to the restaurant for health safety issues including dog hair flying in to your food because they shed. I’m gonna inform the city because no one except one young man I can praise because he stepped in and he told me he was new but sure he understands my concerns and got his restaurants well-being he quickly Stein no one out of maybe 12 employees in the front that I asked said we are not aware of any rules. listen I don’t mind two men or two women next to me making out but a girl and her dog making out in a restaurant is not what I’m Lito see with my own eyes. Anthony the kid that told those guests with out asking anyone permission and just stepped in and said I will take care of it sir and I saw him approach the girls and quickly escorted them out I asked Anthony who is shown in the picture taken by me in the restaurant. after Anthony approach them I took out my phone the girl took the dog of the table so I could not get that picture but shake shack check your surveillance 8.30pm to 9pm Sunday the 14th 2021. i asked who is the manager after he requested some one in the back one young lady came and said I am and apologize said oh maybe it’s a service dog I told I’m gonna ask for surveillance and see if any one even bother asking for dog tag or ID still it’s not allowed in a restaurant period. I know New York City food safety rules and it does not allow dogs in a restaurant period after leaving the restaurant I saw a man outside the restaurant on his phone smoking cigarettes I asked are you a manager he goes yes and after I told him I asked for him he did come forward and I’m gonna take this to court if I have to that how the restaurant kept serving food like no tomorrow on the same table he laughed on my face and walked away. wow shake shack you guys really care about food safety dog hair especially that type of dog sheds and flies in to food I want public to understand it’s my basic right to eat in a healthy restaurant but shick shack doesn’t care about safety of their customers and if they did they would have training teaching food safety...

Update: 2025-02 Staff has changed. Sam and Gloria were excellent. Gloria gave the food on time and was very friendly. She provided us a refill and condiments upon asking. Sam also got the food prepared and ready asap. Thank you the great service you two. What happened to the tomatoes and lettuce! The lettuce looks shriveled and small and there was only half of a tomato. This doesn't feel like the shake shack I know. The quality doesn't compare to that of their parent location at Madison Square Park. Burgers took forever to come to our table too. I could only imagine what Daniel Meyer would say if he went to this location and noticed not only the sandwich but the time it took to make it. Employees were abysmal, kept asking about my vaccine card when I showed my card and excelsior pass to them at the register. It's upsetting to see this place have the shake shack name. I wish I spent my money elsewhere instead of wasting it on this McDonalds clone. Actually no, McDonald's would've been better than this place. Disappointment to the Shack...

I've been here before months ago, and years ago, and it was great, a typical shake shack. Yesterday, I decided I wanted a shake; there was one worker taking someone's order and it seemed to be taking a long time. The store was pretty much empty, otherwise. there were about 5 workers give or take standing around talking and on their phones, as well as what looked like a manager unpacking non perishables like cups and straws. Behind the counter was filthy, the grill, the French fryer, all looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while.

I stood at the counter with my wallet out and open for a few mins looking at all the other people behind the counter, then after looking at the dirty kitchen for those few mins I lost my appetite she decided I should prob go somewhere else and I walked out.

Every bad review has the same reply from the "owner", "......I guess we really dropped the ball this time." They can't even take the time to reply to the...
