Nobody was in line when I got there, so I stood at the register. One worker made eye contact with me, I said hello, and this man scurried away so quickly. The other worker didn’t even turn his back to face me. So I just stood there awkwardly while the one who scurried away was working in the corner the furthest from me. Finally the other guy came to the register and just stared at me. No hello or ANYTHING. While I placed my order, he didn’t even look at me. The receipt printed out and I stood there for a good beat while he finally decided to give me my receipt. Then he made a gesture kind of shooing me away to wait for my drink. When my drink was ready, he gestured for me to go to the counter but in such a dismissive way. As soon as he saw I was walking back to the counter, he turned his back to me. Then I saw another customer arrive to pick up a drink and he was so dismissive of her while she was trying to ask him something. My drink was tasty, but this “large” cup doesn’t seem particularly large and was so full of ice that I struggled to get the straw to the bottom of the cup. Overall, I was disappointed because I love Tiger Sugar. But this location, or the two employees working there today, were just terrible. There’s also a Gongcha in the mall, so you’re better off just going...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal Tiger Sugar customer for years and love the locations in Flushing and Canal Street, but the experience at the Queens Center Mall has been nothing but frustrating. Tonight, I arrived at 7:45 PM—well before closing time at 9 PM—and, as usual, the employee refused to serve customers. This has happened repeatedly over the past month, at least 4-5 times.
He’s always on his phone, ignoring customers, with the TV menu turned off. Every time, he gives excuses like “we’re closed” or “nothing on the menu is available,” often blaming the lack of boba to avoid making drinks. It’s clear he has no interest in doing his job or serving customers, and this level of negligence is unacceptable.
Tiger Sugar is known for its quality drinks and service, but this location’s employee is tarnishing the brand. The management needs to step in and address this immediately. Customers should not have to deal with this kind of unprofessionalism. Please take action—this is beyond frustrating and disrespectful to your...
Read moreI honestly don’t know why the workers are so rude. I get my drinks here all the time and the workers are always so monochromatic and they just stare at you. They take minutes to stand up and get off their phone while having their vapes in there hand when a customer is waiting to order. In top of dad they just stare at you no hello no nothing and once you order and pay they just walk away get your drink and set it on the counter. They all seem to hate their job. Today I went at 1:30pm and there was a guy inside. I waited for a couple of mins when he finally decides to say we are closed. I look at the time assuming he’s on break and the only one there and ask what time they open. He said at 2 and I said “Okay I’ll wait” and he shortly respond “or 3 it depends”. That itself just confirmed he clearly didn’t want to work. How can a location vary it’s hours and not have them correctly posted on their page. Extremely disappointed. I see many people have the same encounter and nothing is being done...
