Be aware, there's an illegal towing scheme at this Olive Garden. The landlord has a full time employee lurking in the corner of the parking lot, watching people exit their cars. He has a tow truck waiting around the corner - the moment you step onto the sidewalk, he calls in the tow. The tow truck driver will demand cash to drop the vehicle - $125 + tax, despite the signage clearly stating the drop fee is $62.50. He tried to act like he was cutting me a deal by saying the release from impound would cost $250... despite the signage also clearly stating a "release fee" of $125. I talked directly to the lot employee to see if he knew that the tow truck was overcharging, and he tried to gaslight me that $125 was the correct charge, and that a "drop fee" meant the price for "dropping the car off after it's been impounded" and that the $250 was the cost of releasing from impound and dropping (even though $125 + $62.50 very clearly doesn't add to $250). I called his bluff and told him that he's fully aware that's not what those industry standard terms mean, and he doubled down. Then he tried to pass blame to the tow company, saying that he has no control over them because they're contracted and he doesn't employ them... and I was dumbfounded and said "But you hired them?? They're contracted by you, they work for you" and he just shrugged his shoulders because he had no more poor excuses. As you can see from my pic, the signs are intentionally cluttered and folded to make it harder to understand. And the "Parking permitted for" line is left blank, very likely to confuse people into thinking it's part of the mall complex. They take cash only and don't give out receipts so that there isn't any record of their kickback scheme. If anyone from Olive Garden management reads this, you need to confront your landlord. You're losing customers by allowing them to be extorted like this.

Terrible service, waiter isn’t kid friendly and waiter needs training on how to treat customers. Had to order extra dish because waiter didn’t want to do their job to correct something EDIT: gave this place another try on 7/21/2024. Hugeeeee mistake . Spent almost 2 hours in the restaurant with an autistic child when it didn’t even have to be 2 hours. But wanna know why it was 2 hours? I’ll tell you! Because the waitress kept forgetting the basics we asked for and we had to wait 20 minutes in between for simple things like condiments, lemons, utensils, water, plates and ketchup. By the time the lemon came I was halfway down my drink. By the time the ketchup came my son was done eating. The salmon was dry and tasteless. I ordered “sautéed “ shrimp but clearly it was microwaved. Don’t get me started on the “medium well” steak I ordered. Well I’ll just post the pictures. We asked for the check/to go containers and bag. Each item was brought one by one 20 min apart. It was to the point we just paid on the iPad and just left. I was so so happy to finally go outside. Oh and of course we tipped. I’m sure the waitress did the best she could .

I went to this Olive Garden and was surprised to find a $2.99 charge for “Table Games” on my bill. A few months ago, I had visited a location in New Jersey, played games on the tablet, and was not charged — so I had no reason to expect this. The server said the fee was shown on the screen, but it’s incredibly subtle. There was no clear prompt asking, “Are you sure you want to pay $2.99 for games?” — which would be the honest thing to do. This feels like a modern way of charging people without clear consent. Technically allowed, maybe — but certainly disappointing. I was going to leave just one star, but I have to be fair: the food was delicious. However, in the area where we were seated, there was no music at all, which made it uncomfortable to talk — everyone’s voices echoed and people spoke loudly just to be heard. Also, in all my years going to Olive Garden, we’ve always been offered fresh cheese with our pasta. This time, no one offered. To be honest, I’ll probably stick with the New Jersey locations, where I’ve consistently received better customer service.

My experience at this place was “so,so”. The hostess was very friendly and welcoming. I was placed to sit in a both seat.I waited for 10 minutes for the server to take my order. While sitting I thought to myself that this person is taking a long time.So the server finally came to the table. She immediately said “What can I get for you”. No hello ,my name is so and so , nothing. The server then said to what can I get for you ,she didn’t even do any promotion sales nothing. The main reason I wanted to have dinner at Olive Garden was because of the promotion deal with the “Lasagna”.Otherwise , I wouldn’t of went to the Olive Garden because I don’t really desire it.I told the waitress to order me a ginger ale because I don’t drink liquor. She did ask if I wanted any water no nothing a double negative! As I asked for the ginger ale she asked me if I’m waiting for someone because I did want to placed my order in “her” timely order.I then replied “no” and told her that by the time she returns with the drink I’d be ready to order.Right then and there I understood that she was “already “ annoyed. For what reason , I don’t know. The reason I could tell the waitress was annoyed was because she rolled her eyes while going to place the order. I didn’t make any fuss to the manager . I left the ginger ale on the table and told the hostess to cancel my order because the waitress was rude to me. She then asked me if I wanted her to call the managers, I told her no . There is no need to call the manager. I mean let’s be real they’d probably say they’ll do something about the situation but pacify her when I leave. I didn’t even bother ,I just walked out and ate somewhere else. That waitress rating from me is negative zero. She was nasty and prejudice. She don’t know where life can take her.I don’t recommend this “ Rego Park” Olive Garden to anyone. Plus I was by myself and she treated me this way....

Parked and walked down the block to receive my friend from the woodhaven Blvd train station so we can walk together to Olive Garden to eat unlimited pasta bowls after a long day of work. Within minutes as I was inches away from woodhaven Blvd station a man approaches me saying they’re towing my car away. I thought it was some kind of joke? Also how did he find me in the midst of crowd and abundance of people to know that was mine? And this was only minutes of me parking. Regardless I panicked and started running back to see the tow truck had already attached the car and was just waiting in the lot instead of driving off (sus). I was so stressed and begged him not to do this and he immediately laughed and called me a liar. Not everyone is a liar u know. Some people work really hard for their earnings and to live day to day. He said he’d do me a “favor” and I can pay him $125 and he won’t take it to the impound lot. I begged to let this go. He wouldn’t budge threatening he’d leave. Feeling hopeless I asked him if he takes card and instead he tells me he’ll wait so I can go to an ATM. I scurried looking for cash in my wallet (which I surprisingly had for emergencies I don’t usually carry). I had enough but now he ups it to $136 claiming taxes it’s that and change. I hand him the money and he gives me some change which also didn’t feel accurate. Before I even sat on the driver seat I look back and notice he’s gone like the wind. No receipt nothing. I felt like I had been scammed. I called my friend in the car telling her the situation and we ate at cheesecake in the mall instead as we’ve been planning this for months and it was a convenient location. The whole situation was such a let down and very suspicious let me tell you. I felt like I had been scammed, suspecting the dude who approached me and the driver were in on it together to pocket my cash. Don’t trust this...
