On March 10th 2024 in the NJ convention and expo center they had the Chocolate Expo event. So many amazing vendors! We came across the Spoonable Spirits. They are small desserts infused in alcohol. Featured she had a seasonal one which was a shamrock special, cookies and cream, birthday cake , a caramel whiskey, cosmo jello shot, & Nutella latte. Her sample was only the cookies and cream which I wish she would have had a taste of all of them, because what if one wasn't for my palate. I bought 4 which came with a free tiny reusable insulated tote. I got the cookies and cream, cosmo, shamrock, and birthday cake. I couldn't give her a review right then and there it wouldn't be fair to all you...supposedly you'd get a free one if you reviewed her there. I took my little friends home and tried them after dinner... we already knew we liked the cookies and cream, we then tried the shamrock one like a boozy thin Mint 🤣, it was good, the cosmo jello shot was ok , the taste was jello then at the end you got the hint of vodka, birthday cake was good but very light hint of the infusion. I definitely would have not gotten the jello one if I would have sampled it but c'est la vie. They are about $6.25 I paid 25.00 for all 4.
Overall they are yummy, and fun definitely perfect for an Adult dinner party. If you follow my Instagram @tastebud_adventures80 I'll have a reel posted of them! Cheers...
Read moreThe Jell-O shots are so cute in their little jars and the flavors are delicious I really can’t complain about them. The first time I had them was at AnimeNYC and they were exactly what I needed. The jars are resealable and the cooler bag that you get with them makes it extremely convenient to travel around with them. They’re just great. And the woman selling them to me was incredibly nice and sweet. Every time I come across their booth wherever I am whether it be a convention or a food festival I have to stop and get something. 10/10 experience all...
Read moreFor context: I do not drink but my husband does and we both looove Spoonables. To the point where I'm already planning on purchasing some in lieu of a birthday cake after having it on Valentine's. It has definitely become my exception. In general, I'm not a fan of red velvet and somehow that ended up being my second favorite flavor. The size also works in your favor so you don't have to feel guilty about indulging in multiple flavors. It's a concept well executed and worth trying, especially as a surprise treat...
