I just went to this wine bar and had the most bizarre experience. I’ve never left a bad review but my god. I’m going to write it out play by play to explain why i do not recommend this place.
TLDR: they tried to gaslight us into paying for more rounds than we actually had.
I went with my two friends and we got there at 6:30pm. We were seated outside and a waiter took our order of 2 happy hour glasses of wine and an aperol spritz. Right before happy hour ended at 7pm, the same waiter came by and asked if we wanted another round before happy hour ended. We said yes please and i was glad he reminded us happy hour was ending. 10 mins later a female waitress came by and asked if we wanted more drinks and we said yes we ordered with your coworker a little bit ago.
We finished our drinks and asked the waitress for the bill. To our surprise the bill had 3 rounds of drinks on it. We told her we only had two rounds and she said no you had 3 and they can check the cameras if we’d like??? Like what! We were like ok great, please do because we know how much we drank and we literally only had two rounds. We said please also ask the waitor we ordered with during happy hour. She went back inside and came out a little bit later saying we called him and he said you ordered two rounds with him. We said yes we did but never got the second round until we asked you about it. She said she can call the police if we’d like, we were like ???? Yes please do. It wasn’t about the money but the principle of this establishment trying to gaslight us into paying for 3 rounds of drinks. We asked to speak to the manager and she went inside and came out a few mins later and said you can pay for nothing and never come back. I literally said we can pay for the drinks we had and she was like no just go essentially. I’ve never had an experience like this and it was the most off putting thing. The manager never showed their face.
I wanted to share this experience to make others aware if they are put in a similar situation...
Read moreCame here for a jazz performance to support my friend. I was immediately greeted by a waiter as soon as I sat down. I had purchased one drink and I was holding a four seater table for two guests that were running fairly late. Once they arrive, they are asked to purchase something and understandable because it is their business. My friends both agreed in soda but this is where one waiter had the audacity. She tells me that I've been at the table for over an hour and the limit was 90 minutes. So I would've had to leave but my friends get to stay even though I invited my friends to come. Funny how she didn't tell anyone else this but me and there were several other people who had been there longer than I was there at two seated tables. If the resturant was so crowded and people from outside wanted to come inside then they should've also made this issue know to everyone else so everyone could see the performance. I paid for my drink and me and my friends left the establishment. Leaving the resturant, there was also no line of people waiting to enter but there were people sitting outside enjoying their food. I will give this place another shot in the future by myself but I am disgusted with the way I was treated by a...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment regarding an experience we had today. While walking with my 4-year-old daughter, she urgently needed to use the restroom. We kindly asked your hostess if we could use the bathroom, and we were told they are only for seated guests.
While I understand that this may be your policy, there are moments—especially when it involves a small child—where a bit of leniency and compassion goes a long way. Denying a child access to a restroom in an emergency situation is not only upsetting but also leaves a lasting negative impression of your establishment.
Because of this experience, we will not be visiting your restaurant in the future. I’d like to note my appreciation for Terra, the restaurant across the street, which kindly allowed my daughter to use their facilities without hesitation. Their compassion turned a stressful moment into one of relief and gratitude something I wish we had experienced at...
