When ever there is a fashion show, or like now when it is Tribeca Film Festival, the people coming to these events are extremely disrespectful to the neighborhood. Whether it be filming with models on our entry ramp which we are not insured for if an injury were to occur (models twirling & teetering in high heels), or the trash that is left behind because they think Laight street is perfect for having an outside party, I find it obnoxious. What they do not realize is that this happens every week, perhaps every day during spring time, and they often block entry to out building. Today a flim crew of more then 10 people did not move out of my way and gave me a strange look when I walked through their photo shoot on my way to the post office! They even told our doorman that they had a permit, which they do not. There is plenty of open space on Laight Street, the overpass bridge and our newly paved sidewalk, so there is absolutely no need for filming on...

Sean... He's on the beach now, a toe in the water. He's asking you to come in with him. He's been racing his mother up and down the sand. There's so much love in this house. He's ten years old. He's surrounded by animals. He wants to be a vet. You keep a rabbit for him, a bird and a fox. He's in high school. He likes to run, like his father. He runs the two-mile and the long relay. He's 23. He's at a university. He makes love to a pretty girl named Claire. He asks her to be his wife. He calls here and tells Lara, who cries. He still runs. Across the university and in the stadium, where John watches. Oh God, he's running so fast, just like his daddy. He sees his daddy. He wants to run to him. But he's only six years old, and he can't do it. And the other men are so fast. There was so much love in this...

I attended a Slack (the tech company) event at Spring Studios and was mainly impressed with the space. It's in Soho on a harder-to-find street (thank God they wrap the door where you need to enter through). You enter the space and a staff member leads you to the elevators (there didn't seem a way to walk up to the event space). The event space is on three floors with reception areas, a large conference space, and break out room space. It's beautifully designed full of glass and natural light.

The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was okay. They are a Coca-Cola vendor and for lunch they created custom salads. The snacks were just okay (chips,...

Went for the tribeca film festival. Stood in line under the scorching sun for hours to get rush tickets (the wait is expected, not even a sunshade or a designated waiting area inside the building is not). Once inside, it was a huge room with very uncomfortable metal chairs, all placed at the same level so even if the screen is higher up, half of what’s going on will be blocked by the person in front of you (unless seated in the first 10 rows… those will have a more comprehensive view but also the need to see a chiropractor the following day). Pros: super kind, attentive staff and a few once-in-a-lifetime screenings/panels/events guaranteed amongst the pool of yearly premieres.

Super grateful and appreciative to Google Guides for setting me up with an invite to Google's Launch 2018 Event for their new line up. This was the first Google event I attended and I was super impressed with everything. The design of the whole exhibit was really nice they even had a beverage bar and finger foods being passed. Got to play with all of the new tech Google announced a few days ago and man it is a great looking lineup! I just upgraded to the Pixel 2 a few months ago but that Pixel 3 is already tugging at the heart strings. Thanks again for the experience and the awesome swag bag on they way out!
